Be aware, these drugs may reduce your sex desire…

As we know sex is one of the most beautiful and marvelous gifts that nature has blessed us with. Not only for procreation and increasing pedigree but sex is also considered the best way to feel the extreme ecstasy of the entire being and feel the intimacy with your loved one.

{Avoiding intimacy}

Have you ever felt suddenly dropped down in the desire for sex with your partner? There are many physical and mental factors involved and among them the major and most common factor is drugs. Doctors always prescribe medicine by taking your clinical history and for certain limits but making a habit of taking medicines on your own as self-medication is very dangerous, it may affect the potency of the sexual organs resulting in disagreement of the sexual desire each other.

These drugs are-

Blood Pressure Medications: Blood pressure medications are used to lower the pressure of blood inside blood vessels so the heart doesn’t have to work as hard to pump blood throughout the body. While high blood pressure in itself can lead to sexual dysfunction, many drugs used to treat this condition also can increase sexual difficulties. In men, the decreased blood flow can reduce desire and interfere with erections and ejaculation. In women, it can lead to vaginal dryness, a decrease in desire, and difficulties achieving orgasm.

Birth Control Pills: Condoms for men are considered to be the safest and most effective contraceptives with no side effects. But many men refuse to wear them as it reportedly reduces the pleasure and the feel. Hence, women have to take up the responsibility with oral contraceptives, or birth control pills. These pills can lower levels of sex hormones affecting the libido and desire for sex.

Anti-depressants:   Anti-depressants provide much relief in the condition of depression but unfortunately can lower the libido. The most common symptoms of anti-depressants related to loss of libido are loss of interest in sex, delayed orgasm, delayed ejaculation or no orgasm, no ejaculation at all, and erectile dysfunction in men.

Statins and Fibrates: Statins and fibrates are used to treat the condition of high cholesterol. These drugs limit the availability of cholesterol and mostly interfere with the production of testosterone, estrogen, and other sex hormones. Few studies about the side effects of statins and fibrates have concluded that both classes of drugs may cause erectile dysfunction.

Benzodiazepines: Benzodiazepines, commonly known as tranquilizers are used to treat anxiety, insomnia, agitation, and muscle spasms. The sedative and muscle-relaxant properties of benzodiazepines affect sexual interest, excitement, and sensation. They may also interfere with the production of testosterone. The most common side-effects of benzodiazepines are weakened orgasms, painful sexual intercourse, erectile dysfunction, and ejaculation problems.

Antihistamines: Antihistamines are mainly used to control symptoms associated with allergic reactions, such as incessant sneezing and running nose. Antihistamines can cause erectile dysfunction or ejaculation problems in men and vaginal dryness in women.

Proscar: Proscar is used to treat enlarged prostate. The active ingredient in Proscar is finasteride, which prevents testosterone from converting into its active form. Lack of testosterone means a lack of libido.

PsychiatricMedicinesAntipsychotics: These are used to treat schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and other serious psychiatric conditions. Antipsychotics block dopamine, a brain chemical that regulates emotional responses and the brain’s reward and pleasure centers. They also increase levels of the hormone prolactin, which can lead to erectile dysfunction, reduced libido, and difficulties achieving orgasm. Antipsychotics block the action of acetylcholine, which can lead to problems in all areas of sexual function.

Woman of above age 40 should make MAMMOGRAM- an important part of master health check up...

It has been seen that the ladies especially home maker ladies are not taking care well about their health. The lacunae have been seen from both sides husband and wife. The husband should induce their partner to make a compulsory check-up when a lady is 40 or above the age of 40 as there are many chances of an imbalance of body hormones that directly impact the health of a woman.

[A technician performing a Mammogram]

Whole-body health check-up is highly recommended for everyone based on age. They are below 40, the master health check can be done every third of the year but after 40 it is yearly recommended. Among the health checkup, mammogram screening nowadays becomes the most important part of the lady after the age of 40.

Though there are many reasons to develop breast cancer but avoiding breastfeeding the child and untouchability to their mate in order to maintain their physical fitness is most common. Wearing tight bras and chudidar round the clock is also very harmful, especially for working ladies. At least 5-7 hours, of free and loose wear is highly required to maintain the body in natural conditions. The food style is also one of the important reasons to get an issue like breast cancer.

If you plan to get a master health check-up and you are a lady, also touching age 40 or above, please have a breast screening. The Mammogram is nowadays easy, simple, and takes just a few minutes to give you smily life.

Why it is too important to have Mammogram?

1. Finding breast cancer early reduces your risk by 25-30% or more

2. Self-exams can’t detect early cancer. While you should always conduct regular breast self-exams, a mammogram is still necessary. It can detect cancer up to three years before a lump in the breast can be detected manually.

3. About 1 in 8 women in the United States will develop breast cancer in their lives, and about 85% of breast cancers occur in women who have no family history. At this time, routine screening is not done for males, however. If you have a family history, find a lump, or have a concern, consult your doctor.

4. Your risk increases with age. Age is the strongest risk factor. Most women develop breast cancer after 50. As you age, it becomes increasingly more important to have a mammogram each year.

5. Regular mammograms help your doctor monitor your breasts. Changes in breast tissue can alert radiologists to early signs of breast cancer.

6. It’s a simple procedure. While a mammogram may cause brief discomfort, it’s a very quick procedure. Most women will be in and out of the office in less than an hour. This is a small investment when it comes to saving your life.

Important precautions are taken before going for a mammogram -

  • Don’t use deodorant before your mammogram. Avoid using deodorants, antiperspirants, powders, lotions, creams, or perfumes under your arms or on your breasts. Metallic particles in powders and deodorants could be visible on your mammogram and affect the clarity of the image.
  • Be sure to tell your technician if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. In general, women will not be able to receive a mammogram at this time, but your physician can order an alternate screening method, if necessary.
  • Timing if tender: For many women, breasts are most likely to be tender the week before and the week during your period. Typically, this is not the most comfortable time for a mammogram.
  • Dress for success: You will be given a gown and asked to remove neck jewelry and clothing from the waist up. To make this easier, wear a two-piece outfit that day.
  • Know your history: Be prepared to tell your technician the date of your last menstrual cycle, if you have had previous breast biopsies or surgery or if you are experiencing any problems.
  • Choose a certified facility: Choose a facility that is not only certified but one that performs thousands of mammograms each year. Ask if your scan will be read by a board-certified radiologist.

IIT Madras developed an AI tool for personalised cancer diagnosis

According to the World Health Organization, cancer is a leading cause of death worldwide and accounted for nearly one in six deaths in 2020.

Cancer is an uncontrolled growth of cells that can occur due to mutations in oncogenes or tumor suppressor genes or both. However, not all mutations necessarily result in cancer. Current cancer treatments are known to be detrimental to the overall health of the patient. Knowledge of the genes responsible for the initiation and progression of cancer in patients can help determine the combination of drugs and therapy most suitable for a patient's recovery. The tool, described in a peer-reviewed journal Frontier in Genetics, is based on a machine learning model that classifies genes as tumor suppressor genes, oncogenes, or neutral genes.
According to the researchers of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras, an Artificial Intelligence-based tool that can predict cancer-causing genes in an individual has been developed, paving the way for devising personalized cancer treatment strategies. According to researchers of IIT, Madras, it would be a great tool to diagnose severe life-threatening diseases cancerin coming days.

The tool named 'PIVOT' is designed to predict cancer-causing genes based on a model that utilizes information on mutations, expression of genes, and copy number variation in genes and perturbations in the biological network due to an altered gene expression. The tool, described in a peer-reviewed journal Frontier in Genetics, is based on a machine learning model that classifies genes as tumor suppressor genes, oncogenes, or neutral genes.

Cancer, being a complex disease, cannot be dealt with in a one-treatment-fits-all fashion. As cancer treatment increasingly shifts towards personalized medicine, such models that build toward pinpointing differences between patients can be very useful," said a Doctor, Core Member, RBCDSAI, IIT Madras, in his statement.

The new tool was able to successfully predict both the existing oncogenes and tumor-suppressor genes like TP53, and PIK3CA, among others, and new cancer-related genes such as PRKCA, SOX9, and PSMD4. The researchers built AI prediction models for three different types of cancer including breast invasive carcinoma, colon adenocarcinoma, and lung adenocarcinoma." The research area of precision medicine is still at a nascent stage.

PIVOT helps push these boundaries and presents prospects for experimental research based on the genes identified," informed by a Research Scholar, IIT Madras. The team is planning to extend PIVOT further to many more cancer types. The team is also working on a list of personalized cancer-causing genes that can help in identifying the suitable drug for patients based on their cancer profile.

World Population Day and its significance…

The theme of the World Population Day - 2022“As the human population is set to hit eight billion this year, the theme for World Population Day 2022 is ‘A World of 8 Billion: Towards a Resilient Future for All — Harnessing Opportunities and Ensuring Rights and Choices for All.”

World population day had been established by the governing council of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in 1989 and then the UN General Assembly passed a resolution and decided to continue observing World Population Day as a measure to raise awareness on matters related to population, including their link with development and the environment. World Population Day was first marked on July 11, 1990, in over 90 countries. Since then, the UNFPA country offices and other organizations commemorate the day in partnership with governments and civil society.

World Population Day is being observed on July 11 every year since 1990 for drawing attention to the issues arising out of the rise in population across the globe. While the rising population has an impact on aspects such as gender equality, poverty, and economic growth. The celebration of the population day does not mean to discuss only the various challenges faced due to explosive population but also know how human progress, harmfulness to the globe due to growing populations, etc.

World Population Day is meant to highlight the difficulties created by overpopulation and raise awareness about how it can harm the environment and compound health hazards, among many other things. The day also looks into the positive aspects of teeming humanity.

Significance of the World Population Day- The day is observed with the aim of highlighting the difficulties created by overpopulation and raising awareness about how it can harm the ecosystem and the progress of humanity. Incessant growth in population has resulted in issues such as gender inequality and health concerns, which were highlighted by the COVID-19 pandemic. India is the second-most populated country in the world after China.

According to the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA), having accurate estimates of population trends and forecasts about future changes also help countries to formulate and implement policies. The pace of growth of the global population will continue to decline in the coming decades, with the world population being 20-30 percent larger in 2050 than in 2020.

How people of India in ancient times coped with the diseases?

In India, there were many systems followed in the name of folk or traditional medicines. These are mainly Ayurveda and Siddha. Ayurveda was followed all over India whereas Sidhha specifically was practiced in Tamil Nadu, the South part of great India. Ayurveda is believed to be related to Bhagwan Dhanvantari and Narayan Vishnu the God of Nourishment whereas the Siddha is come into existence through Bhagwan Shiva and then followed by Agastya and other 18 Sddhar.

Both systems of medicines were in the fame due to their curing methods and uprooting the disease from the body of a patient. But, at those times the Tibetian and Unani medicines were also being practiced in some localized areas in India but the Tibetian medicines got famed in China and Unani medicine in the Greek. The main systems are the Ayurveda and Siddha practiced in India in ancient times.

Those time might civilization was in the mode of establishment and at the time majority of the population was residing in the jungle. but some of the people come into the community and resided together as villagers and in such a way infectious diseases such as influenza, measles, polio, tuberculosis, dysentery, malaria, typhoid, and leprosy were very common finally the “big two” infectious diseases epidemics namely smallpox and plague; decimated the ancient world. The communicable disease was being treated by separating the patient from the community and providing treatment by maintaining a particular distance in order to avoid spreading.

The jwara (fever) was being treated by using many types of plant fresh roots and barks, body pain and impotency were treated with ashwagandha roots, and high blood pressure by the powder of sarpagandha. Root bark and stem bark of many plants were taken in utility for treating many types of life-threatening diseases. The lepa prepared by leaves, fruit rind, bark, etc, were taken to heal wounds.

The doctors were famous in the name of Vaidyas and Siddhar for the system of Ayurveda and Siddha respectively. They were being trained by Rishi and Munis in their Gurukulam and totally sacrificing their lives for the welfare of humankind.

Vaidya Sushain was the best example in the war between Shri Rama and Ravna when in the war Shri Laxmana was being saved by the Sanjeevani brought y Lord Hanuman Ji with the consultancy of vaidya Sushain.

Standard sleep hours of an adult for a healthy brain - New study...

Everyone is now running a competitive robotic life due to their lifestyle and a regular schedule from the day starting. The shift working many multinational companies is also playing important role in disturbing routine activities.

In the ancient period, it was said as a proverb that “Boycott Nature means the reduction of the life.”  It is very true and we can’t ignore this. Due to activities using digital gadgets including mobile, computers, and other digital media, sound sleep has left away the majority of the people of the world, especially in developing countries.

[Importance of sound sleep]

A new study has just revealed the standard sleep duration for a healthy brain. As we know that sleep is very important for our health. A new study result has been published in the journal Nature Aging just revealed standard sleep time to have probably the healthiest brain.

To determine the sleep time necessary for a healthy brain, Christelle Langley, from the Department of Psychiatry at Cambridge University (United Kingdom) and researchers from Fudan University (China) came to analyze data from the UK Biobank of approx. Five lakhs people aged 38-73. The latter had been questioned about their sleep habits, mental health, and well-being. On top of that, about 40,000 people provided brain imaging data and genetic data.

The results thus show that after the age of 40, the optimal duration of sleep is 7 hours is highly recommended. We also learn that shorter sleep time was directly associated with impaired cognitive performance, such as information processing speed, memory, problem-solving ability, and visual attention.  Of course, this optimal period of 7 hours of sleep implies sleeping in good conditions. Episodes of awakening during the night can for example impact the optimal efficiency of the brain.

The researchers further add that the results show the importance of having a regular sleep pattern. The researchers then conclude: “7 hours of sleep per night is the optimal amount to maintain good cognitive performance. Finding ways to improve sleep in the elderly could therefore be crucial in helping them maintain good mental health and avoid cognitive decline, especially for patients with psychiatric disorders and dementias.” According to them, the association between insufficient sleep and cognitive decline is caused by the disturbance of deep sleep.

Swami Vivekananda – A brilliant Indian philosopher and mentor of youth

The country's spiritual master Swami Vivekananda was born as Narendra Nath Dutt on 21 January 1863 in the Kayastha caste of Calcutta. He belonged to an upper-middle-class family. He was sent to a Western-style university to complete his studies, where he was given information about Western Philosophy, Science, etc. Swami Vivekananda was a person of sharp intellect since childhood.

[Swami Vivekananda]

The name of Swami Vivekananda's guru was Ramakrishna Paramhansa. He founded the Ramakrishna Mission in the name of his guru Ramakrishna Paramhansa. Soon he became one of the most famous disciples of Ramakrishna. He joined the Brahmo Samaj whose aim was to eliminate child marriage and illiteracy and bring education to the lower classes and women. Vivekananda had a deep attachment to Hinduism and spirituality. Swami met him while he was searching for God.

Social reform had become an integral part of Swami Vivekananda's ideas. After the death of his father in 1884, Narendranath i.e. Swami Vivekananda had to face a financial crisis. He asked Ramakrishna to pray for his condition to improve. Ramakrishna Paramahansa told him that he should go and pray himself. Swami did the same and reached the temple to pray and asked for discretion and detachment for himself. From that day Narendranath became attracted to the life of an ascetic. While wandering, Swami came to know about the World Parliament of Religions. The World Parliament of Religions was to be held in Chicago, the USA in 1893.

Swami Vivekananda's wish was that he should participate in the World Parliament of Religions and take the thoughts of India and his Guru to the world. Though reaching Chicago was not easy for him but his resolve did not leave him.

When Vivekananda gave his speech with words like My Brothers and Sisters of America, the entire audience stood up and applauded him. He remained in America for the next two years and in 1894 founded the Vedanta Society. Along with this, he traveled to the United Kingdom where he preached about the principles of Vedanta and Hindu spirituality.

The people of India celebrate National Youth Day on 12 January, every year. The day marks the birth anniversary of the social reformer, great thinker, and philosopher, Swami Vivekananda. National Youth Day is observed to honor the ideals and thoughts of Swamiji Vivekananda who had tremendous faith in youth.

Swami Vivekananda's “Take up one idea. Make that one idea your life; dream of it; think of it; live on that idea. Let the brain, the body, muscles, nerves, and every part of your body be full of that idea, and just leave every other idea alone. This is the way to success, and this is the way great spiritual giants are produced.”

Indian philosopher Swami Vivekananda died on 4 July 1902, near Kolkata, at the age of only 39, he merged with the Panchatattvas but left behind many ideas. Young people carry those ideas in their lives even today. Swami Vivekananda, the mentor of youth, had chosen the path of sannyasa at the age of just 25. Vivekananda had a deep attachment to Hinduism and spirituality. His guru's name was Ramakrishna Paramhansa. Swami met him when he was searching for God. Swami Vivekananda's Samadhi at Belur Math on the shore of Hubli river at Howrah.

Best 7 Tips to Avoid Childhood Obesity

Children and adolescents are very much affected by the important medical disease known as childhood obesity. It is especially concerning because childhood obesity often predisposes children to health problems such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol once thought to be the domain of adults. Also, sadness and low self-esteem in children can result from obesity. Improving your family’s eating and exercise habits is one of the best ways to combat childhood obesity. Obesity in children is treatable and preventable, helping to safeguard your child’s current and future health.

[An Obese Child]

Obesity is frequently associated with a number of chronic diseases. Another dangerous problem that requires rapid intervention is childhood obesity. In every nation of the world, childhood obesity is one of the most important global public health concerns of the 21st century, according to the WHO. Obesity among school-age children and adolescents has increased more than tenfold in just 40 years, from 11 million to 124 million. Childhood obesity can have a severe impact on a child’s physical, emotional, and social well-being if left unchecked. Though, there are many points to be adopted to avoid childhood obesity, however, here I would like to emphasize the following 7 tips that are practically working well. These are-

1. Healthier eating habits- This is very important to monitor what type of diet, we are giving to our children? There is no place except own home to provide good and nutritional food to the children.   A child can have a very good day of dietary intake with careful planning. It includes a variety of whole-grain foods, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products in your child’s diet, along with low-fat or fat-free milk. They will receive most of the nutrients they need to build their bodies and minds from this.

2. Sleep well- It is very important to get proper sleep in childhood. Good and sound sleep in children more than 6-8 hours daily can help in the prevention of type 2 diabetes, obesity, accidents, poor mental health, and attention and behavior problems.  Did you know that teens ages 13-18 require 8-10 hours of uninterrupted sleep each night and teens ages 6-12 require 9-12 hours? Obesity is related to lack of sleep in part because it can cause us to eat more and do less physical activity. Make sure your kids are active during the day, keep screens out of their beds, and maintain a regular sleep routine even on the weekends to help them sleep better.

3. Consuming enough water- Water is vital for human health, as we all well know, and it is crucial to teach this to children as well. It is recommended to drink 8 to 10 glasses of water a day. Give them a water bottle and explain that they should empty it completely four times (depending on the capacity of the water bottle) throughout the day to include this in their regular routine. This would help them establish a habit, but keep in mind that it may take some time and your child may not initially drink the entire bottle during the designated time.

4. Never let children skip breakfast- This crucial meal jump-starts your metabolism, increases calorie expenditure, and prevents you from overeating later in the day. Notice what they are drinking as well. Most young people do not drink as much water as suggested. According to the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, children ages 4 to 8 should have seven cups a day, while children ages 9 to 13 should have nine to 10 cups and teens should have 10 to 14 cups a day. Juices, sports drinks, and sodas are not healthy alternatives because they usually contain a lot of sugar. Instead, stick to drinking water or low-fat milk.

5. Avoid distractions/entertainment during the meal- Children can now frequently eat while using a screen, for instance, watching TV, playing games on the computer, or using a mobile phone. It is a serious and harmful activity. The child is distracted by looking at a screen, which causes him to consume less or much more than he should. Enjoy the company of your family as you eat together without interruption.

6. Reduce screen time- Not counting sleep, adults and children spend more than 7 hours a day sitting. Many of these sedentary hours are spent using a phone, tablet, or computer while sitting or lying down, watching TV, or playing video games (also known as screen time). Among health terms, excessive screen time is linked to poor sleep, weight gain, poor academic performance, and poor mental health in youth. Reducing screen time leaves more time for family activities. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends developing a family media plan, including tips such as avoiding technology use during meals, charging electronic devices out of bedrooms at night, turning off screens an hour before bedtime, and more.

7. Eliminate the temptations- Your child is more likely to eat junk food if you have it in the pantry. Children look up to their parents as role models for eating. So, set a good example for your kids by keeping high-calorie, sugar-laden, salty snacks out of the house. Remember that sugary drinks also include calories, so try to limit the amount of soda and juice you buy for your family.

Koothu, an ancient traditional and folk dance followed by music and storytelling the epics

Koothu or Therukoothu is an ancient art, where artists play songs with dance and music in storytelling the epics, performed in the Tamil language; it is a folk art originated from the early Tamil Nadu.

[Koothu Performance]

Mostly this type of performance has been seen in the temple festival seasons where the artist performs the dance by telling a story, especially on Ramayana and Mahabharata followed by music and song.

Here, I would like to make it clear that there is a great difference in the performance of koothu and therukoothu. Koothu is maximum performed at one place like a temple ground in the full night up to morning 6-7 A.M. In this performance the artist plays a story of Mahabharata or Ramayana based on the Temple like Amman kovil (Devi temple) or Perumal kovil (Shiva or Vishnu temple). It will be continuing for 10- 15 days daily at night whereas Therukoothu is referred to as mobile performances in a procession.

Historically, Koothu as a form of entertainment reached its peak hundreds of years ago in Tamil Nadu as mentioned in the Sangam texts about the development of iyal (literature), isai (music), and nadagam (drama). Going beyond just a means of entertainment, koothu educates the rural people about religion and their history.

I have got a chance to see the Koothu dance and while my query an artist beautifully informed me in detail. According to him, Koothu is an informal dance structure, in which performances generally depict scenes from ancient epics such as RamayanaMahabharata, and Tamil classical epics. There is traditionally no spoken dialogue, only songs. Artists are trained to sing in their own voice and in a high pitch to reach the entire crowd since no amplification technology is used. The artists are dressed up with complex heavy costumes and have very bright elaborated makeup. They put on towering headdresses, sparkling shoulder plates, and wide colorful skirts. Traditionally, this theatre form has been predominantly male, though in modern times more females have been included

There are many types of Koothu such as Nattu Koothu, Kuravai Koothu, and Valli Koorhu, which are about the state and culture of different peoples in Tamil Nadu; Samaya Koothu showcases religious topics, while Porkaala Koothu, Pei Koothu, and Thunangai Koothu are focused on the martial arts and war of the country. Another important art form Chakyar Koothu is very popular in Kerala. There is mention of this koothu in Silappatikaram.

Koothu eventually spread from Tamil Nadu into most of South India, particularly Karnataka and Kerala. It is very popular in rural areas and has remained relatively unchanged even in modern times. Apart from India, koothu are now being performed in MauritiusRéunionGuyana, Malaya, South Africa, Fiji,  Trinidad and Tobago,  Suriname, Jamaica, French Guiana, Guadeloupe, and Martinique, they took this kuthu dance form to their new settlements, thereby promoting its growth universally.

Natural way to Kidney cleaning at regular period - a small but effective home remedy...

" Quality of the food and lifestyle is directly related to the quality of body health" Yes, have you ever heard in Hindi " Jaisa khaye Ann (food), waisa hoye Mann (Body and thought). Now, It has commonly been seen due to hectic life schedules, people are not able to take care of their bodies to provide a healthy and balanced diet as a result, many youths also suffer many life-threatening diseases related to nutrition.

Actually, bad nutrition or malnutrition has been referred to as a disorder for some time in the medical terminology in the local languages but practically it is not a disorder but a wrong and regular routine and our day-to-day activities which lead us toward severe disease that was absolutely based on junk food or food that is full of taste enhancer but not fit for our body.

As we know that taste is the major criterion to justify food quality since ancient times but at that time too, many Vaidyas are addressing to maintain their routine in a healthy manner and for that, they develop many Naturopathic methods cleansing our essential live body part-time to time and that method not only cleaning the live organ but also boosting their capacity to work. Now once again, we have to come back to follow our Vaidyas, Munis, Sidhhar, Gurus, etc. Because quality and hygiene both become anti words to each other and complementary. It has been seen that the entire world changing the farming style as an organic crop is not sufficient to fulfill the requirement of ordinary people and is costly in comparison to normal crop harvesting. The chemical and fertilizers also a key role to disturb the pathways of the life cycle and part of that the taste enhancer is playing a major role in enhancing the taste of even those foods that our body actually does not requires due to their natural poor quality but by enhancing the taste, people will eat even more than the regular diets. These are only the trailer of regular life nowadays. There are so many reasons apart for that and disturbing the health of young citizens.

Many drinks and beverages also give bad effects on the body by disturbing the real nutritional value required for a normal life. It has been seen over the decades that a majority of people are suffering from skin, lungs and kidney diseases, the cardiovascular has come 4th place and the diabetics on fifth place as per my opinion and regular experiences. Bread Pakode or veg roll and health in modern days...

As we know, nothing is important in life except health. Health is everything. Everyone wishes to live a healthy life but on thought, not practically. Everyone wishes to be active, slim, and energetic but the majority of people thought in the mind and are not practical.

In modern days, many industrial estates are now computerized and robot oriented. The employee has a role to operate and program the task but has no physical activities. Daily about one hour of brisk walk or forty-five minutes of cycling is the best solution to make the body energetic. but, due to a hectic and unsystematic schedule and the wrong routine of life, no one is able to follow.

It has been practically seen that a very rare young generation is becoming the witness of the sun rising. They ever know the sun is rising but they were not able to see the natural charm and morning glory due to their lifestyle. Neither, do they go early to bed nor wake up early in the morning and they wish to eat only ready-made food or readily processed and preserved food, rather we may say junk food.

It has been seen that many channels give learning to prepare healthy and hygienic food but due to practice to prepare and eating nonvegetarian food, the health maintenance becomes negligible because of adding more spice to bring the taste to the recipe.

Being in the health department, I kept on searching whether anybody doing social work and taking care of the society by means of the health of a common population. Ultimately, I got success when I got an opportunity to meet the owner of a growing youtube channel entitled "Panchavati Rasoi" I asked the aim to run this channel and got a satisfactory reply. The owner indicating me that the purpose of the channel is clearly mentioned in the channel description and apart from that helping the student who had fear of the Covid pandemic and wishes to cook their own healthy food. I visited the channel site and have seen there were more simple but healthy recipes available on the channel. Recently, I have seen a recipe for " Kachhe Kele ki Sabji" (Raw banana vegetable), and while asking it was said that veg roll (Bread roll) is under process. I asked whether bread roll or veg roll comes under a junk food category, it was replied that No, it was the material to make junk food but she beautifully designed it as a healthy and yummy recipe for the young generation.

It was stated that whole wheat bread and boiled potatoes and other ingredients were used in such a manner that edible oil quantity become negligible with zero oil. Not only this, it has not been deep fried but air-fried using an air fryer. The easy recipe was hardly taken 10-15 minutes and was served to me for taste purposes. I really enjoyed it. It was a really healthy and oil-free recipe.

The channel owner quoted that there was no harm to serving this to the diabetic patient and cardiovascular patients as there every ingredient is in a limited and quantified manner., and very soon it would be uploaded to the channel. While asking to offer taste before uploading, it was told that this is also a type of testing. I laughed and I love this preparation. I told her that I will be waiting for this beautiful and tasty recipe. She also promises to upload the same very soon. Apart from that many, more recipe is there on the channel. If anybody wishes to enjoy it, they may use the link which I share for public interest and health benefit.

Monkeypox virus, symptoms and its safety measures…

It is a viral infection, which is found mainly in Central and West African countries. For the first time in the year 1958, this viral infection was found in monkeys. The disease was first detected in humans in 1970. Nigeria had the largest outbreak of monkeypox in 2017, with 75% of its patients being male.

The virus enters the body through the eyes, nose, and mouth after coming out of the patient's wound. Apart from this, monkeypox can also be spread by the biting of animals like monkeys, rats, and squirrels or by touching their blood and body fluids. According to experts, you can also fall prey to this disease by not eating properly cooked meat or eating the meat of an infected animal.

The symptoms of monkeypox can appear from the 5th day to the 21st day of infection. Initial symptoms are flu-like. These include fever, headache, muscle aches, back pain, shivering, fatigue, and swollen lymph nodes. After this, the rash starts to appear on the face, which also spreads to other parts of the body. During infection, this rash goes through many changes. Eventually, they fall off like a scab, just like smallpox.

Professor Jimmy Whitworth of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine said in a conversation with the news agency Reuters – International travel was closed for a long time due to the Corona epidemic. Now after the abrupt removal of restrictions, people are moving to and from African countries. Maybe that's why cases of monkeypox are coming to the fore. The world battling the corona epidemic is now increasingly vulnerable to monkeypox.

The disease has spread to 15 countries within just 15 days. After Belgium on Monday, Britain has also made a 21-day quarantine period compulsory for monkeypox patients. At the same time, the World Health Organization (WHO) has warned that even one case of this disease in any country will be considered an outbreak. On the other hand, India has also become alert seeing the rapid spread of monkeypox.

On Monday, the Municipal Corporation of Mumbai prepared a 28-bed isolation ward at Kasturba Hospital for suspected patients of monkeypox. However, not a single case of this disease has been found in the country so far.

Cases of monkeypox have been reported in the UK, USA, Italy, Sweden, France, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Australia, Canada, Belgium, Netherlands, Israel, Austria, and Switzerland. In just 2 weeks, the number of cases has crossed 100. However, not a single death has been reported from this disease so far.

The concern of the central government regarding the monkeypox has also increased. In view of the rapidly spreading infection, an alert has been issued to the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) and the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). The Health Ministry has directed the officials of airports and seaports to immediately isolate any sick travelers who have returned after traveling to monkeypox-affected countries and send samples to the National Institute of Virology (NIV), Pune for testing.

According to the WHO, a rare infection like monkeypox usually gets better on its own, but it can prove to be serious in some people. Such people include young children, pregnant women, and people with very weak immunity.

Children younger than 5 years are more prone to it. The WHO is also concerned that most people who are confirmed with monkeypox have no connection to African countries. Actually, this virus is mostly found in Central and West African countries. It is common to find cases in countries like Nigeria, Ghana, and DR Congo.
