Girls must not ignore Poly-cystic Ovary Syndrome - PCOS; may convert in to tumer later on...

In today's era, it has become common for young girls to suffer from Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). One out of every five young women in the country is affected by PCOS.

Girls living in cities are more at risk of PCOS compared to villages. The reasons behind this include restaurant and cafe food, soft drinks and packaged food, incomplete sleep, stress, and inadequate exercise.

As we know PCOS Polycystic Ovary Syndrome is a hormone imbalance that occurs in women. Androgenesis, i.e. production of male hormones, starts increasing in the ovaries of some girls. Due to this, ovulation occurs regularly. If PCOS is not treated timely, it can have many side effects. In such a situation, it is important not to ignore symptoms of PCOS when they appear in the body. The disease is easy to cure in the beginning.

Do not ignore the symptoms of PCOS - It includes -

  • pimples on the face
  • Facial and body hair growth
  • depression
  • heart disease
  • infertility
  • diabetes and
  • hypertension.
According to the doctors, the risk of PCOS increases due to wrong eating habits, sitting habits, laziness, and ignoring the symptoms indicating the disease. Mainly it includes processed foods, obesity, hypertension, diabetes, hormonal imbalances, etc.

NEW GENERATION IS MORE AFFECTED WITH PCOS: Actually, when a girl was in childhood, she used to play outdoor games. Today mobiles and gadgets have changed the environment. Due to this physical activity is not possible. Girls spend most of their time sitting in front of the computer. Do not take out time for physical activities. Along with this, staying busy on social media till late at night causes a lack of sleep, dehydration, weight gain, hyperproteinemia, thyroid problems, and mood swings. Changing lifestyle is completely responsible for this.

PCOS IS HARMFUL BECAUSE-

1. Women face difficulty in conceiving. According to the report of the National Institute of Health, 70 to 80 percent of women suffering from it are affected by infertility.

2. Women face emotional turmoil due to hormonal imbalances.

3. Body weight starts increasing rapidly. Increasing weight increases the risk of many diseases.

4. Periods do not occur on time. During periods, some people face the problem of less bleeding and some more.

5. PCOS affects the endometrial lining of the uterus. In such a case of PCOS, the risk of endometrial cancer increases.

6. The problem of PCOS is related to hormones. Therefore, it is very important to manage your lifestyle so that the secretion of hormones can happen properly.

Five yoga asanas can control PCOS:

1. Setubandhasana- While doing this yoga, the body becomes the shape of a bridge. This asana can be done during periods and menopause. Digestion also remains fine with this yoga.

2. Matsyasana- The stomach should be empty while doing this asana. By doing this asana regularly, the muscles of the front of the neck and lower abdomen become active.

3. Sarvangasana- In this asana, the weight of the entire body is given to the shoulders. While doing this, one has to lie down and raise the lower part of the body. Due to this, the entire burden falls on the shoulders.

4. Bhardwaj Asana- By doing this asana, there is a stretch on the stomach, which reduces belly fat and improves digestion.

5. Chakki Chalanasana- In this yoga, one has to sit with both legs spread. Then the hands are kept in front and run like a mill. This strengthens the pelvic and abdominal muscles.

Keep blood pressure under control to prevent memory loss in old age…

If you want to prevent memory loss in old age, then keep blood pressure under control. Recent research by international researchers says high blood pressure is also affecting your memory. At the age of 30 to 40, if your blood pressure remains elevated, and then control it as it increases the risk of dementia.

The risk was seen in 61 percent of the people- To understand the effect between blood pressure and falling memory, ie dementia, research was done on 2.50 lakh people in Britain. Their age was between 35 and 44 years and they were battling with high blood pressure. The MRI report revealed that 61 percent of these people are at risk of memory loss in the future. This research has been done by a team of international researchers.

Brain shrinking of people with high BP-Researchers found in their research that the brain shrinks due to high blood pressure. A connection was found between its size reduction and dementia. Research says that people over the age of 35 whose blood pressure has increased, their brain is shrinking more. If high blood pressure is not controlled then the condition can worsen.

Silent killer (HBP) is increasing heart patients- In 2019, the British Heart Foundation estimated that 4 million people between the ages of 30 and 40 in the UK were suffering from high blood pressure. According to researchers, cases of heart attack and stroke are increasing due to high BP, which is called the 'silent killer'. Experts say blood pressure can be messed up due to stress, infection, medicines, and even lack of water. The matter of concern is that there are a large number of people who do not understand the increasing and decreasing blood pressure. This condition leads to serious diseases and death later on. That is why it is also called the silent killer.

150 million people worldwide are battling high blood pressure (HBP)- WHO says, currently 150 crore people worldwide are suffering from hypertension. In 2019, 1.79 crore people died due to heart diseases. High blood pressure is responsible for one-third of these deaths. This is also because hypertensive patients do not understand this disease. Its symptoms are not visible. As a result, there are incidents like heart attacks in the patients.

Some important facts to control High Blood Pressure-

1. Smoking increases BP for 20 minutes- This is necessary because Nicotine makes the walls of the arteries hard by shrinking them. Apart from this, it also plays a role in blood clotting. It takes 20 minutes for the heartbeat to return to normal after a person smokes a cigarette. So it is better to leave it.

2. If We reduce the weight by 1 kg, then BP will also be reduced by 1 point - According to the Mayo Clinic, if an overweight person with obesity loses one kilogram, blood pressure decreases by 1 mm Hg (roughly 1 point). Not only this but blood pressure is also related to the waist. If the waist of a man is more than 40 inches and that of a woman is more than 35 inches, then its risk is high.

3. Do not eat more than 5 grams of salt in daily food- This is important because a young person should have less than 5 grams of salt in a day's diet. The equivalent of one teaspoon of salt contains about 2,300 mg of sodium. By reducing this amount of sodium in the food, 5 to 6 point BP can be reduced.

4. Less than 5 to 8 points BP with 30 minutes of exercise- According to research published in the National Institute of Health, if you walk for 30 minutes a day, then there is a reduction in blood pressure by 5 to 8 points. However, the walk should be done continuously; otherwise, the blood pressure may rise again. Apart from this, jogging, cycling, and dancing also reduce blood pressure.

How the heart attack happens, knowing symptoms on time can help in saving life…

Nowadays many people are losing their lives due to heart attacks even in their pre-mature life.  According to some doctors, there have also been deaths of people whose age was less than 40 or 45.

Let us know how many types of heart attacks are there and what are their symptoms-

1. Hypertension- Hypertension or high blood pressure is one of the most common types of heart disease. Under normal conditions, the blood exerts a specific pressure on the walls of blood vessels, which is called blood pressure. In many situations, this pressure can be so high that it starts damaging the body parts. This can be due to an increase in the amount of blood circulating in the arteries or a decrease in the diameter of the arteries. Symptoms- This condition does not cause any specific symptoms. Many people may suffer without even knowing it. However, some patients face multiple symptoms. They include headache, dizziness, shortness of breath and nose bleeds.

2. Coronary heart disease (CHD)- Coronary heart disease is a condition that affects the arteries that supply blood to the heart. Due to many reasons, the lumen of blood vessels gets reduced, due to which the heart does not get oxygen and blood. One of the most common complications of this disease is myocardial infarction (MI), also known as a heart attack. This occurs when the artery becomes completely blocked and sufficient blood supplies the part of the heart. As a result, the cells do not have enough oxygen and they die within minutes. Symptoms- The main symptom of coronary heart disease is angina pectoris or chest pain. In most cases, it emerges after vigorous physical activity, occurs in the center of the chest, interferes with movement, and usually disappears after a few minutes of rest. Symptoms include chest pain, tiredness, difficulty in breathing, weakness all over the body, headache, dizziness.

3. Heart failure- Heart failure is one of the most serious types of heart disease. It is a diagnostic syndrome in which the heart cannot pump effectively leading to cardiac output or insufficient cardiac output. In other words, cardiac output is insufficient. Usually, when heart failure occurs, the ventricle muscles become very weak. So it doesn't shrink properly. Many changes in its structure or function can cause this. Actually, it is the last stage of some heart conditions. Symptoms include- difficulty in breathing, inability to breathe while lying down, pink sputum cough, swelling of the lower limbs, tiredness, ascites. include chest pain, tiredness, difficulty in breathing, weakness all over the body, headache, dizziness.

4. Congenital heart disease- One of the most common causes of heart problems in children is congenital heart disease. They are structural birth defects that occur early in pregnancy when the baby's heart is forming. Symptoms -  the symptoms of congenital heart disease usually appear in the early days after birth. Some of them are rapid breathing, purple lips, and difficulty in feeding, and growth problems. On the other hand, those who were born with congenital malformations and reach adulthood suffer from arrhythmia, shortness of breath, skin malaise, fatigue, and swelling in the lower limbs.

5. Rheumatic heart disease- Various systemic diseases can affect the heart, for example, rheumatic fever.  It is a type of heart disease caused by a staphylococcus strain that attacks connective tissue, causing an autoimmune reaction. In this way it affects the muscles and valves of the heart, causing great damage in cases of rheumatic heart disease. These damages are so severe that they can cause severe heart failure and even death. The symptoms include- fever that does not exceed 101 °F, muscle and joint pain, general weakness, vomiting, gout.

6. Cardiomyopathies- Some heart diseases, such as congenital heart disease, require surgery. Cardiomyopathy is a heart disease that affects the heart muscle. They modify the size and distribution of the cells that make up it. In this way, the heart gets changed. The three most common types of cardiomyopathies are dilated, hypertrophic, and restrictive. In the first, the ventricles are enlarged. In the second the ventricular wall thickens. Finally, restrictive cardiomyopathy occurs when the walls of the heart (ventricles) harden due to infiltration of connective tissue. The Symptoms- are shortness of breath after physical activity, swelling of the lower limbs, tiredness, heart palpitation, dizziness, and fainting.

Avoid white foods, they make you sick...............

Maida, Salt, Ajinomoto, and Sugar increase the risk of cancer, diabetes, and obesity, know how they harm the body.

Eating less and doing more physical work is the most important thing for the health. But the presence of essential nutrients in the food is more important than that too. in the changed and speedy lifestyle, people are searching for automatic and easy solutions to survive; in this, the fast-food was trending to be the best option for them but an increased amount of fast food and packaged food in the diet have reduced the number of nutrients from our food. These include substances such as sugar, salt, maida, and Ajinomoto. The most important thing to know is that the quantity of this material in processed food is up to dangerous levels.

[Refined wheat flour ]

According to the Harvard Institute of Health, they are not only causing serious diseases like cancer, type-2 diabetes, obesity, blood pressure, heart attack, etc. but also they can reduce the lifespan by at least ten years.

Food and Dietetic Experts say that the aforesaid four items that are becoming important parts at hotel and restaurant for daily food for increasing taste as per public demand give rise many more life-challenging diseases.

1. Maida - cause of diseases like obesity, cholesterol: During the processing of wheat to make flour, the tissues found in it called endosperm are destroyed. Similarly, the bran required for digestion is also removed. Overall, almost all of its nutrients are lost while making maida from wheat. In such a situation, it causes serious digestive problems as it is very much sticky and gives trouble to the villi (many small finger-like projections found in the small intestine that make the surface rough and also play a major role to absorb nutrients from food) in our small intestine by sticking over the surface wall of the small intestine and make them smooth and inactive for absorption of food and as a result, the digestion is affecting very badly.

Acceptable quantity of maida: Foods made from all-purpose flour (maida) can be eaten once a week. That is also just for testing, and, not a full diet.

2. Sugar: Cause of diseases like cancer, diabetes, etc. Sugar without processing or can sugar is good for health in a limit but nowadays no one likes it. People want only crystal white refined sugar. As we know that the sugar is also called empty calories. It does not contain any nutrients. As soon as it reaches our digestive tract, it breaks down into glucose and fructose. For people who do not do physical work, it gets stored in the liver in the form of fat. It also has a bad effect on insulin, which increases the risk of diabetes.

Acceptable quantity of sugar: Just 5 teaspoons of sugar per day is enough for an adult. After the age of 40, this should reduce also.

3. Ajinomoto: Extremely harmful to the heart. Ajinomoto is monosodium glutamate. It is found naturally in tomatoes, grapes. It is mostly found added in Chinese food, soup, etc to enhance the taste.

Correct dosage: There is no need to take it artificially. If you wish to enhance the taste of your food, just take some tomato, onion, and cucumber slices as a salad or squish the quarter pieces of lemon in the food that is enough.

4. White salt: Most responsible for high blood pressure: Salt affects the amount of water in the body. If we eat more salt then the extra water stored in the body increases the blood pressure. Apart from this, when salt is refined; the iodine found in it is removed. At the same time, during refining, fluoride is added to it, which causes harm if eaten in excess.

Correct doses: A maximum of 1 teaspoon of salt should be taken in daily food. If you have BP then definitely consult a dietician.
