Indian spices are more beneficial for health than how much flavor they add to food. There are many benefits of consuming black pepper and honey in cold. So let's know the benefits of eating honey and black pepper together in winter.

1. Get rid of cold and cough - If a person has frequent colds, and then take a spoonful of honey at night and mix half a spoonful of black pepper in it. Eat and sleep. This will give rest throughout the night. In addition, it is also very effective for phlegm. Rest is available overnight and in one day only.

2. Strengthen Immunity - For people who fall sick very frequently, it is necessary to strengthen their immunity. For this, we can also consume only black pepper water. If there is a problem in the eyes, the risk of dementia i.e. memory loss increases. In patients whose eyesight is decreasing, their memory and thinking ability may decrease. Researchers from China's Guangdong Academy of Medical Science, who conducted this research, say that the connection of eye diseases in increasing age is related to the decreasing memory of the elderly, but why this is so, has not been clearly revealed. 

The research was done on thousands of elderly people- A study was done to understand the connection between the eye and the brain. The research involved more than 12,000 people aged 55 to 73. The research report revealed that aging eye disease increases the risk of memory loss. For example, the risk of dementia was up to 26 percent higher in patients with macular degeneration. At the same time, 11 percent of cataract patients and 61 percent of those suffering from diabetes and eye problems were more likely to have dementia.

Scientist(s) arguments on eyesight and dementia- Researchers say, what the exact reason behind the loss of memory is when there is a problem in the eyes, it is not clearly known. There could be a reason behind the increasing age, the eyesight of the elderly starts decreasing. Due to this, the activity in their brain also decreases. That's why they are not able to recognize the faces of friends and family properly. The research, published in the British Journal of Ophthalmology, says that every year in the UK, about 50 percent of people aged 65 years suffer from cataracts, and 40 thousand people are troubled by macular degeneration. 

The risk is even higher in diabetes and heart patients- Researchers say that patients who have some kind of problem with their eyes and are suffering from diabetes, heart disease, stroke, or depression are at an even higher risk of dementia. According to research, eye diseases associated with macular degeneration, cataracts, and diabetes are also at higher risk. Efforts are being made to understand this connection between eyes and memory. 

Dementia cases are increasing rapidly around the world- Dementia cases are increasing worldwide. Scientists at the University of Washington predict that by 2050, dementia patients will triple worldwide. The number of such patients will increase to more than 15 crores. Most of its cases are increasing in Eastern, Sub-Saharan Africa, North Africa, and the Middle East. According to the World Health Organization, there are 10 million new cases of dementia every year. 

According to new research by American scientists, by 2050, by educating people, the increase of its 60.2 million cases can also be stopped. The results of this research will help policymakers to devise new strategies so that cases can be prevented from increasing.

This test will be able to know how much the human is at risk of heart disease and stroke.

American researchers say, by examining the retina, it can be told how low blood circulation is in the human eye. The same thing indicates heart diseases. This claim has been made by researchers from the University of California, San Diego, in their recent research. 

How eye test gives accurate results?  Researchers say, if the blood circulation in the body is reduced or not enough, it also affects the retinal cells of the eyes. Dr. Matthew Beckham, a retina surgeon at the University of California, says its investigation can reduce the risk of heart diseases in the future. According to research, heart disease named ischemia can be detected by examining the retina. In such a situation, the oxygen level in the body drops, and the risk of damage to the arteries increases. 

Scientists at the University of California are planning that any patients who show symptoms of ischemia in a retinal test will be referred to cardiologists. Researchers say, to understand eye diseases from the retina, Scientists made a research on more than 13000 patients. The retinas of these patients were examined between the years 2014 and 2019. In this test, heart disease was confirmed in 84 people. Of these 84, 58 were suffering from coronary heart disease. At the same time, 26 patients had a stroke attack. In both diseases, the direct connection of the patient was related to blood circulation. 

Why is a retina test necessary? With the help of a retina tests, experts diagnose diseases like glaucoma and macular hole. It is a simple test and patients do not have to go through any kind of pain during this. Researchers say, usually until a person does not suffer from heart disease, tests related to it are not done. In such a situation, the examination of the retina will be able to tell the condition of the patient's eyes as well as his heart. If the risk of heart disease is detected in time, it can be prevented through diet and exercise.   

More than millions of people in the world suffer from a heart attack every year. These cases are increasing year after year, so it needs to be controlled.

But the presence of essential nutrients in the food is more important than that too. in the changed and speedy lifestyle, people are searching for automatic and easy solutions to survive; in this, the fast-food was trending to be the best option for them but an increased amount of fast food and packaged food in the diet have reduced the number of nutrients from our food. These include substances such as sugar, salt, maida, and Ajinomoto. The most important thing to know is that the quantity of this material in processed food is up to dangerous levels.

According to the Harvard Institute of Health, they are not only causing serious diseases like cancer, type-2 diabetes, obesity, blood pressure, heart attack, etc. but also they can reduce the lifespan by at least ten years. 

Food and Dietetic Experts say that the aforesaid four items that are becoming important parts at hotel and restaurant for daily food for increasing taste as per public demand give rise many more life-challenging diseases. 

1. Maida - cause of diseases like obesity, cholesterol: During the processing of wheat to make flour, the tissues found in it called endosperm are destroyed. Similarly, the bran required for digestion is also removed. Overall, almost all of its nutrients are lost while making maida from wheat. In such a situation, it causes serious digestive problems as it is very much sticky and gives trouble to the villi (many small finger-like projections found in the small intestine that make the surface rough and also play a major role to absorb nutrients from food) in our small intestine by sticking over the surface wall of the small intestine and make them smooth and inactive for absorption of food and as a result, the digestion is affecting very badly. 

Acceptable quantity of maida: Foods made from all-purpose flour (maida) can be eaten once a week. That is also just for testing, and, not a full diet. 

2. Sugar: Cause of diseases like cancer, diabetes, etc. Sugar without processing or can sugar is good for health in a limit but nowadays no one likes it. People want only crystal white refined sugar. As we know that the sugar is also called empty calories. It does not contain any nutrients. As soon as it reaches our digestive tract, it breaks down into glucose and fructose. For people who do not do physical work, it gets stored in the liver in the form of fat. It also has a bad effect on insulin, which increases the risk of diabetes. 

Acceptable quantity of sugar: Just 5 teaspoons of sugar per day is enough for an adult. After the age of 40, this should reduce also. 

3. Ajinomoto: Extremely harmful to the heart. Ajinomoto is monosodium glutamate. It is found naturally in tomatoes, grapes. It is mostly found added in Chinese food, soup, etc to enhance the taste. 

Correct dosage: There is no need to take it artificially. If you wish to enhance the taste of your food, just take some tomato, onion, and cucumber slices as a salad or squish the quarter pieces of lemon in the food that is enough. 

4. White salt: Most responsible for high blood pressure: Salt affects the amount of water in the body. If we eat more salt then the extra water stored in the body increases the blood pressure. Apart from this, when salt is refined; the iodine found in it is removed. At the same time, during refining, fluoride is added to it, which causes harm if eaten in excess. 

Correct doses: A maximum of 1 teaspoon of salt should be taken in daily food. If you have BP then definitely consult a dietician.
