Decoction increases immunity; but it is necessary to use the decoction in the right way and quantity.....

Herbal tea or decoction is considered one of the natural remedies to strengthen immunity. The use of the decoction helps in preventing the common cold, cold, and many other health problems. According to a study published in 2015 by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI), herbal remedies like decoction strengthen the body's immune system, which can help the body fight off infectious viruses.

Since the start of the coronavirus epidemic, the practice of drinking decoction has increased rapidly in the country to increase immunity. From the Ministry of AYUSH to the Ministry of Health, the use of decoction has been advised to strengthen the immune system during the epidemic, but many times health problems have also come to the fore due to excessive use of the decoction by the people. That is, it is necessary to use the decoction in the right way and quantity. And most importantly, take the decoction only after consulting a doctor.

Although, decoction has been used in India for centuries, since the outbreak of the corona epidemic, especially during the last two years, the trend of using decoction as an immunity booster has increased rapidly among the people. Union Health Ministry Has also advised the use of decoction as part of immunity-boosting measures to protect against the Kovid-19 epidemic.

A 'kadha' or herbal concoction is a mixture of herbs and spices. Ginger, lemon, turmeric, black pepper, carom seeds, giloy, cloves, cardamom, honey, and a pinch of salt are usually boiled in hot water to make the decoction.

According to the government's guideline, "Drink herbal tea/decoction made from basil, cinnamon, black pepper, shunthi or dry ginger (dry ginger) and dry grapes once or twice a day." If needed, add jaggery and fresh lemon juice to it for taste.

The use of the decoction is beneficial only if it is taken in the right quantity and with the right dosage. According to the Ministry of Health and Ministry of AYUSH, a healthy person should drink the decoction only once or twice a day. For this, it is right to take one cup or two cups (about 50 to 100 mL) of decoction in a day.

For this, the substances mixed in the decoction should be boiled in 100 mL of water until it remains 50 mL. According to health experts, most of the mornings should avoid using the decoction on an empty stomach. The use of decoction is more beneficial for people suffering from phlegm because the risk of viral infection is also high in such persons. On the other hand, people with Vata and Pitta body types should avoid adding black pepper, cinnamon, and dry ginger to their decoction. It is considered better for such people to drink decoction in the evening.

Although the decoction usually strengthens the immune system, if it is taken in excess or used more often then it can also have many side effects. During the second wave of corona in the country in April-May 2021, the craze of drinking decoction increased a lot. As a result, many people had health problems due to drinking too much decoction. Due to drinking excessive decoction, people had problems like indigestion, diarrhea, and anal fissure. These problems were seen in both types of people who were infected with Kovid and not infected with it.

Health experts believe that excessive use of the decoction can cause problems like hyperacidity, burning, and pain in the stomach and intestines in the person. Drinking more decoction can also lead to problems like stomach ulcers or mouth ulcers. Actually, the material used in making the decoction produces a lot of heat in the body. Due to excessive use of the decoction, it affects the stomach and intestines, causing problems of indigestion, diarrhea, and gas, which gradually become anal fissures.

Anal fissure An anal problem, which is a wound or tear in the thin, delicate lining of the anus. For the benefits of the decoction, it is necessary to use it in the right amount, but if your body is being harmed due to excessive use of the decoction, then its many side effects start appearing. Bleeding from the nose, ulcers in the mouth, excessive acidity, dyspepsia or dyspepsia, problems with urination. If you see any of these problems due to drinking the decoction, then stop drinking the decoction immediately and consult a doctor.

Flaxseed decoction helps in reducing obseity - latest findings...

Flaxseed is scientifically called Linum usitatissimum; family- Linaceae. it has traditionally been used for the management of infectious and non-infectious diarrhea and gastrointestinal infections

[Flaxseeds]

Nowadays most people are busy trying to lose weight. The majority of people become obese due to inactivity and fortune arrest at home due to lockdown caused by Corona. But now the situation is gradually normalizing and everyone is coming to their work. I have been seen that people feel difficulties in climbing stairs at their office because of the gaining of abnormal weight, also not able to stand for more than an hour on the field to perform their work. Not only this, among the people who start working, some of them had already got affected with Covid-19 and feeling weakness too.  We have already suggested in my previous articles how to manage post-Covid health. Here, I will tell, how to reduce weight with simple home remedies. There are many ways to reduce weight without exercising too. But here, I would like to tell you the uses of flaxseeds in reducing body weight by making a decoction from the flaxseeds.   Flaxseed (Linseeds) is rich in fiber, omega 3 fatty acids, which are considered good for weight loss. It is very easy to make a decoction of linseed, which also helps you in weight loss. So, let's know how to make flaxseed decoction and its benefits.

Methods of preparing flaxseeds decoction: To make a decoction of flaxseed, we need 2 tablespoons of flaxseed and 2 cups of water. In a pan, we will add the flaxseeds and water.  Now, boil the water until the water is reduced to half. The decoction of flaxseed is ready. Now, filter it and drink in lukewarm condition.

How will it help in weight loss? Drinking the decoction daily helps to melt the excess fat stored in the body. Apart from this, the amount of fiber in flaxseed is high, which is successful in keeping your body active for a long time. The fiber content present in the decoction of flaxseed keeps you full for a long time and prevents you from eating more calories. Flaxseed contains insoluble fiber and helps promote good gut bacteria. This increases the metabolic rate even more. Flaxseed is low in sugar and starch, which is good for weight loss. Drinking this decoction does not increase your calories as well as helps in reducing weight.

I Hope, you will try the same. it will really help you but please note, if any person has heart-related issues or other life-threatening issues may please consult with your doctor first before starting this remedy.

Very soon Ayurveda will also become a global phenomenon like yoga....

As we know that the Ayurveda is a science of life that deals with the problems of longevity, and suggests a safe, gentle, and effective way to rid diseases afflicting our health. Ayurveda is regarded as the fifth Veda- by its virtue-and has been practiced in India for thousands of years, Medicinal plants and their utility are widely described in the Vedas; especially in Athar Veda. To understand Ayurveda, it is necessary that we should have a good knowledge of its basic principles.

Ayurveda has been considered the oldest healing science in existence, forming the foundations of all others. Buddhism. Taoism, Tibetan, and other cultural medicines have very similar parallels to Ayurveda. the secrets of Ayurveda's individualized healing methods were preserved in India.

The alert person may now ask, why if Ayurveda is so important, it is not widely practiced all over the world. This is a valid question, which has an equally valid answer. Ayurveda, like all Vedic philosophy, adheres to the belief of Sanatan Dharma, or accepting everything in its appropriate time and place, and rejecting nothing. All aspects of medicines may be useful, but the appropriate treatment must be used when required. This is why Ayurveda does not reject modern medicine.

It has been seen very often, the modern medicines also recommend many tonics, multivitamin tablets, and other immune-boosting drugs that are made from total herbs, not with an extracted alkaloid. Is this not a global acceptance? Have you ever seen, many doctors of modern medicines advise the patient to morning walk along with taking medicine for diabetes and cholesterol etc.. many of you have ever heard that modern medicines doctors advise the patient to drink hot water after lunch and dinner? Drinking hot water is a part of the food principles of Ayurveda. These are the sign of global acceptance only.

Now let's discuss Yoga. I would like to tell you that Yoga and Ayurveda are complementary to each other. Yoga cannot be practiced without Ayurveda and vice -versa. Rather we can say that YOGA has a very strong affinity with AYURVEDA just like we pronounce 'Q".  When we pronounce "Q", automatically 'U' will be pronounced together it means we cannot pronounce Q without pronouncing U at the last of this alphabet. Yoga has the same position as Ayurveda, and it can't be recognized separately. Yoga also following the same fundamental principles of Ayurveda.

I can put another example. Suppose, modern medicines doctors wish to diagnose a disease in the patient. He or she will write some lab tests along with medicines prescription. The medicines are manufactured in a Pharmaceutical company and the staff has B. Pharma degree or equivalent or Chemistry but not a doctor. The blood test analyzed by the lab technician is not a doctor. the X-rays and ultrasound were done by a B.Sc. radiology technician and approved by a radiologist. The collective action performed by many paramedical staff and again correlate with the history of the patient and come to conclusion at the final to the same doctor who prescribes the medicines.  In my opinion, Yoga also works like paramedical staff for Ayurveda and plays an equal role in treating any disorders diagnosed by the Physicians.

As we know that from the last decades, many changes have been seen in the lifestyle of the common people also and they always trying to go for treatment with the least side effects and in this situation, there is no alternative found safe as like Ayurveda and Yoga and now it has been seen that most of the country is accepting Ayurveda and its unique treatment methodology and thus no doubt, the medicine future is going to be secure in the had of Ayurveda and will be accepted globally.
