Reduction in isolation periods from 14 days to10 day and then 07 days may lead rapid spread of Omicron…

Corona will spread more rapidly. During the first wave in the country, Corona home isolation was kept for 14 days. Then two negative corona tests were necessary before the home isolation ended. After this, the period of home isolation was kept for 14 days, but the mandatory test was done away with. During the second wave in April 2021, the home isolation period was reduced from 14 days to 10 days in the guidelines. Along with this, the imperative of testing also ended before the end of the isolation.

Now, in the new guideline that came on 05 January 2022, the Ministry of Health has reduced the home isolation period from 10 days to 7 days for asymptomatic and mild symptoms of the corona. Also, it is not necessary to get testing done before the end of home isolation after 7 days. Only if there is no fever for three consecutive days in isolation, home isolation will be considered over after 7 days.

Earlier America had reduced the isolation period: On 23 December itself, the US had reduced the period of home isolation for corona infected health care workers from 10 days to 7 days. On 27 December 2021, the US also reduced the period of isolation for ordinary citizens from 10 days to 5 days. The US National Public Health Agency Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has not recommended corona testing to be done before the end of the isolation period. After America, Britain also reduced the home isolation for corona infected from 10 to 7 days. While Israel has abolished the isolation requirement for vaccinated people.

After the reduction in isolation periods by America, Britain, and Israel, the Union Health Ministry of the country also issued a home isolation guideline for Kovid-19 infected on 05 January 2021. Now the isolation period has been reduced from 10 days to 7 days for asymptomatic and mild symptoms. The isolation period in the country during the first wave was 14 days. If there is no fever for three consecutive days, at least 7 days after being found corona positive without testing, home isolation will be considered over. There is no need for testing and isolation of asymptomatic people who came in contact with the infected person.

The Ministry of Health did not tell the scientific reason for reducing the isolation period. The Ministry of Health has not given any specific reason for reducing the corona isolation period. It is believed that India has also reduced the isolation period with the help of countries like America, Britain. On reducing the isolation period, the Ministry of Health has definitely said that in the last two years, it has been seen in the world and also in India than in most cases, Covid-19 is either asymptomatic or has very mild symptoms.

The end of the home isolation period without testing has been criticized by many experts and said that this will put the corona at risk of spreading more rapidly. According to the New York Times report, there has been a lot of opposition to this move in America and experts say that this move is more related to the economy than science.

Let us know why it is dangerous to end isolation without testing? What the experts are saying is-

1. The transmission of the virus will be faster. "The result will be that at least some people will come out of isolation sooner, so there will be more chances of transmission and in fact, COVID-19 will spread faster." There is little chance of people taking measures like applying masks after leaving isolation.
2. According to Dr. Megan Rennie, Academic Dean and Emergency Physician, Brown University School of Public Health, USA “This guidance is more confusing than it could be or should be. It should be for people who are not symptomatic, if you have symptoms, you should not go out in public
3. According to a study led by epidemiologist Dennis Nash of the City University of New York in the US, only 29% of people were isolated during a previous infection. He said that it is not clear whether by reducing the isolation period; more people will be ready to be isolated.

4. "Not testing after five days of isolation - is it because there is no supply of testing kits? If that's the case, that's no reason to make a policy." -Dannis Nash, Epidemiologist in America

What are Indian experts saying? Indian experts have also expressed the risk of spreading the corona more rapidly without testing after 7 days, considering the isolation period to be over, and said that the isolation period should be at least 14 days. Some experts believe that early termination of the isolation period without testing could lead to further spread of the Omicron variant. According to an expert, "How can a patient be removed from the isolation ward without a negative test? The patient can spread the virus to others as well." He also said that many times there have been complaints of not following self-isolation rules. In such a situation, even if the patient is asymptomatic, he should remain in isolation for 14 days.

According to experts "The risk of spreading the virus is not zero, but it is definitely less. Even after isolation, a person can be found corona positive for 90 days, because some viruses may be present in his body, but the number of viruses is not enough to infect others. Therefore, the risk of infecting others remains low but does not end.

Some experts believe,  “Omicron symptoms come in 2-3 days and the virus starts killing in 3-4 days. Whereas in Delta and other variants, it took 4-5 days for symptoms to appear and more time for their elimination. This may be the reason to reduce the isolation period to 7 days.

To prevent the spread of infection, it is necessary to wear a mask even after the end of the isolation period, and follow the Covid protocol."

Is history repeating itself: Omicron's wave is like the flu pandemic in 1918, even at that time masks and lockdown were necessary....

The wave from the Omicron variant in the world is very similar to the flu pandemic of the year 1918. Even a century ago, people used to come out of the house wearing masks and today the same situation is being seen even after a century. According to researcher Christopher McKnight Nichols of Oregon State University in the US, the 1918 flu, like Omicron, was the first to hit young and healthy people.

Carelessness was seen even in 1918-  People had shown their negligence at that time also. In an article published in The Washington Post, Mr. Nichols wrote that the flu that occurred in February 1918, caused the First World War-like situation and spread from America to the whole world. It was also a viral disease that spread by air. And the rate of spreadability was very high. It took only 6 months for its infection to spread worldwide. However, like Omicron, this flu had a low mortality rate.

Some of the flu symptoms were very similar to those of the corona mutant  'Omicron'. People used to have colds and fever in them. Even then, by showing carelessness, people took it as a fever that lasted for 3 days. According to Mr. Nichols, in October 1918, a dangerous variant of this flu had arrived, which killed about 2.0 lakhs people in a month in America. By 1919, the flu cases and death rates had decreased. In total, 50 million people died due to flu epidemics around the world.

There was a lockdown-like situation even during the year 1918 flu pandemic. Governments closed movie theatres, pools, and other public places even in the year1918 flu pandemic due to people's carelessness. It was necessary for people to wear masks outside the house. People were put in jail for not wearing masks. It was also common to follow isolation and social distancing when infected with the flu.

Scientists had tried to make a vaccine a century ago but failed, unfortunately:    Mr. Nichols says that scientists had tried a lot to make a vaccine for the flu in 1918, but at that time they were not successful. Therefore, it is very important to use whatever vaccines and booster doses are available to fight against the coronavirus and its variants. According to his opinion, Corona will never end like the flu spread in 1918 and still among us but in the weak conditions. Mr. Nichols believes that just as the flu virus is still present in the environment, in the same way, the coronavirus is not going anywhere. After a time corona will also become a normal virus for us like flu.

So, it would be better to avoid carelessness and follow all the precautionary measures as provided by the health department from time to time and wear proper facemasks, sanitize your things, wash your hands properly, make appropriate distances avoid gathering and better to stay home and if, really need to go out, then only go with proper protocols. This is also a kind of help to the Government to control the spreading of the disease and fight against the corona.

Stay home, stay healthy, stay safe...

Omicron virus and its affects in the world – A complete information on Omicron....

Expert says that Omicron will definitely make everyone a victim once, out of 100 tests, 25 will come out positive; Let us know when the havoc will stop...

Corona cases are increasing worldwide rapidly due to the new variant Omicron of Corona. Omicron, 70 times more infectious than Delta, is rapidly becoming the dominant variant in many countries of the world. Due to Omicron, records of new corona cases are being made in America and Europe. However, Omicron seems to be causing less severe disease so far than Delta. But experts are warning not to take this new variant lightly.

The new variant of Corona, Omicron, has spread rapidly all over the world and in less than two months it has spread to more than 100 countries of the world. Experts believe that Omicron will become the dominant variant in the coming days or weeks. Edward Ryan, MD, Director and Director of International Infectious Diseases at Massachusetts General Hospital in the US, says that nearly 100 percent of cases in the New England region of America are now Omicron and the delta variant has almost disappeared from there. As of the first week of January, Omicron was responsible for about 96% of new cases in the UK and more than 80% of the cases in the US and France.

In South Africa where Omicron was first found, more than 93% of cases are now of this variant. In India too, about 35% of the new cases by the end of December were from Omicron. Omicron was responsible for about 40% of the new cases till the first week of January. In metros like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, about 75% of the new cases of Corona are from Omicron.

When will the peak of the fresh wave of Corona come? Experts estimate that the peak of the fresh wave of corona in India is likely to come in February. First IIT Kanpur and now recently IIT Madras in their study have expressed the possibility of the peak of fresh wave in the country during 1 to 15 February. According to American expert Dr. Edward Ryan, the peak of corona in America can come by the end of January and cases will start decreasing in February and life is likely to be back on track by March.

What does mean Positivity Rate?   The positivity rate is an indicator of the spread of the coronavirus. An increase in the positivity rate means that out of the total corona test done, the number of people found positive has increased. The percentage of positivity rate is an indication of how much infection has spread in the country or area where corona testing is being done.

What would be the positivity rate? According to experts, It can reach 20-25%? As per records from the Ministry of Health, as of January 09, the country's daily positivity rate has increased to 10.21% and weekly positivity rate to 6.77%. It is expected to increase further in the coming days. The R-value of the country has also increased to 4, that is, now one infected person can infect 4 people. The country's R-value during the second wave was 1.9. According to American expert Dr. Edward Ryan, the daily positivity rate is expected to reach 20%-25% in many countries.  A possibility is also being raised about Omicron that it could be the beginning of the end of Corona. Although experts believe that the speed with which it is spreading, it is difficult for anyone to avoid it and once everyone is infected with Omicron. Only then will herd immunity develop against this variant.

American expert Dr. Edward Ryan says that there is no way to avoid Omicron and it will happen to everyone once, only then will herd immunity develop against it. With the rapid spread of Omicron, there is a possibility of developing herd immunity in the world quickly. Herd immunity is a condition in which almost the entire population develops immunity against the virus. This can be due to a past or current infection or vaccination. Dr. William Schaffner of Vanderbilt University, Tennessee, USA, believes that if there are no more new variants after Omicron in 2022, then it may be the beginning of the end of the corona or moving towards endemic. More infectious Omicron attacks only the upper respiratory tract, i.e. the throat, so it spreads faster.

Omicron has a lower hospitalization rate than Delta, despite the rapid increase in the number of hospitalizations occurring in already sick people. According to the BBC report, a UK study states that Omicron has a 50%-70% lower hospitalization rate than Delta and other variants This is true to a large extent in India as well. According to the experts, only 1%-2% of people infected with Omicron in the country are hospitalized, which is much less than the second wave. According to this report, those admitted to the hospital are already ill, people of 60+ age or unvaccinated people are more. More than 20 thousand corona cases were registered in Delhi in the first week of January and the positivity rate increased to 19%. But in the first week of January in Delhi, the hospitalization rate has come down. According to other expert views, Delhi's hospitalization rate was 6.6% on January 1, which came down to 4.81% on January 07. That is, even though corona cases are increasing in Delhi, the number of people admitted to the hospital has declined.

Will most of Omicron's infected be asymptomatic? Yes. Most of the Omicron cases coming in the world are asymptomatic. According to the Ministry of Health, about 70% of the Omicron cases in the country are asymptomatic. 90% of the Omicron cases in the country have been found in people who are vaccinated. That is, the fear of dodging Omicron's vaccine also seems to be proving true. According to the World Health Organization, preliminary studies show that while Omicron spreads more rapidly than the delta variant, its symptoms are less severe and most cases are asymptomatic.

Booster dose and Omicron:  The demand for the introduction of a booster dose has started rising after the Omicron variant was suspected of dodging existing vaccines. Many countries of the world have already started giving booster doses. In India also, from January 10, people of 60+ ages are being given the preparation or the third dose. But many experts believe that it is not possible to give a booster dose every six months for the new variant of Corona.

Scientists from Oxford University have recently said that the whole world cannot be vaccinated in four to six months; it is neither long-term nor affordable. Researchers say that instead of giving a booster dose to everyone, it should be given only to susceptible people. American expert Dr. Edward Ryan says that by the time we give booster doses to the people, before that the havoc of Omicron will be over.

It is observed that rapid antigen tests and RT-PCR tests for corona are not effective in catching Omicron infection in the early days. According to American expert Dr. Edward Ryan, for people who have symptoms, the rapid test is 50-80% sensitive while, for asymptomatic people it is only 30-60% sensitive.

To stop Omicron, governments are also tracing people who have come in contact with the infected person, so that it can be stopped from spreading. Close contact is considered when a person spends four or more hours in a place like home with an infected person. Omicron has a risk of spreading 70 times faster than Delta, so contact tracing is believed to be effective in preventing Omicron from spreading. However, the Ministry of Health has not mandated corona testing of asymptomatic people coming in contact with a corona-infected person in the country.

Delmicron may also infect the human population as a supportive corona disease …..

First Coronavirus, then its mutation to form many variants like Delta, Omicron, Florona, etc, and infects over the human population. Expert says that there is also a possibility of 'Delmicron' infection made from Omicron plus Delta:

Recently, some experts have expressed the possibility of a Delmicron strain consisting of Omicron and Delta. Actually, Delmicron is not a new variant of Corona. Some experts believe that the Delta variant and Omicron variant of Corona together form a 'super strain', which is being called Delmicron.

The condition that results from infection with both Delta and Omicron in the same person is being called Delmicron. Experts believe that people with weakened immune systems are at higher risk of getting infected with both Delta and Omicron variants. Inside such people, the viruses of Delta and Omicron are forming a new super strain Delmicron.

The severity of the infection and the rate of spreadability is still the subject of deep study.

Deltacron, a new corona variant entered in the world; It kills like Delta and spread like Omicron – A serious issue, world to face….

It has come to the information that another new corona strain has knocked in the midst of the coming corona Tsunami due to the new variant Omicron in the world. Scientists in Cyprus claim that a new strain of coronavirus consisting of Delta and Omicron variants has been found in their country. Due to Omicron, record cases of corona have been registered in the world in the first week of January. In such a situation, another new strain has increased the tension of the world regarding Corona.

What is 'Deltacron' and who discovered it? A new strain of coronavirus has been found, about which researchers claim that it has symptoms of both Delta and Omicron variants. Researchers from the University of Cyprus have named it 'Deltacron'. The new strain of corona, Deltacron, has been discovered by a team led by Leondios Kostrikis, Head of the Laboratory of Biotechnology and Molecular Virology at the University of Cyprus and Professor of Biological Sciences. Regarding the new strain Deltachron, Professor Kostrikis said, "It is a co-infection of Omicron and Delta and the strain we found has a combination of both. This discovery is named Deltacron because a genetic character like Omicron has been found inside the Delta genome.

According to researchers, a new strain of corona Deltacron has been found in 25 people in Cyprus so far. According to Professor Kostrikis, out of 25 people in Cyprus in whom the new strain was found, 11 people were admitted to the hospital after being corona positive. At the same time, the remaining 14 people were such that they were Covid positive, but were not admitted to the hospital. That is, the risk of infection from this new corona strain is higher for those admitted to the hospital.

What is the danger of the Deltacron strain? A new strain of corona, Deltacron, has been found at a time when corona cases are increasing very rapidly around the world due to Omicron. At such a time, a new corona strain is definitely like a new disaster. However, studies regarding this new strain are still in the early stages. Cyprus has sent 25 samples in which DeltaCron was found on 7 January itself, to GISAID for examination. GISAID is an international database tracking changes in influenza and coronavirus. Professor Kostrikis from Cyprus has said about the threat from Deltacron that we will know in the future whether this strain is more disease-causing, more contagious, or will it be more effective than Delta and Omicron?

The World Health Organization monitors each new variant of the coronavirus and categorizes it according to its severity. For example, Delta and Omicron have been declared 'Variants of Concern' by the WHO, that is, both these variants are in the worrying category. The WHO has not said anything yet on the Deltacron found in Cyprus. That is, an official statement from the World Health Organization is yet to come about what the Cyprus researchers are calling the Deltacron strain.

Cypriot expert and Virologist Tom Peacock of Imperial College London has said that Deltacron is a "technical mistake in the lab", not a new strain. He said that Omicron has not yet spread to such a large population that it can actually combine with another variant to form a new variant. He said that it has been only a few weeks for Omicron to spread, so it is unlikely that it will be able to combine any other variant and create a new variant. However, the claim of being a 'lab error' has been dismissed by Professor Kostrikis from Cyprus. He said that the genome sequencing of Deltacron samples has been carried out in more than one country and at least one sequence from Israel submitted to the global database showed Deltacron's genetic properties, he said.

Infection with Omicron may act as immunity booster and will end pandemic– Expert says…

Experts are stating to Omicron is a vaccine to end the pandemic because it is observed that the Omicron spreading rapidly but the mortality rate of human beings is drastically down in comparison to the Delta variant. The new variant of Corona, Omicron, will be the reason for the total elimination of coronavirus.

A former scientist of the British Medical Council has given information about this. According to experts, there is no need to fear the rapid spread of Omicron, because of this variant only this epidemic will end. Omicron spreads through the lungs much slower than Delta.

However, this variant is spreading very fast in Europe and America. According to the Former British Medical, Council Omicron is quite different from the Delta variant. Delta causes damage by reaching the lungs, while Omicron increases its numbers by stopping in the trachea. By the time Omicron reaches the lungs, its speed has decreased by 10 times. Therefore the patient does not need oxygen support.

The human trachea contains the mucosal immune system, which is the center of the immune system. This is where an antibody is made, which is called 'immunoglobulin IgA'. Now that Omicron increases its numbers in the trachea itself, the antibodies already present here are activated more quickly. In simple words, the antibodies start destroying Omicron even before it becomes a serious threat.

The expert said that the virus does not get enough opportunity to make a person seriously ill, but people who already have serious illness may have problems. Now Omicron is rapidly replacing Delta, patients are also increasing rapidly, but there is no need to fear, because the more people it spreads, the more people will get natural immunity.

Experts say that the immunity created due to infection remains present in the body for a longer time than the immunity created by the vaccine. Because of this, the faster it spreads, the less its danger will be. This is the reason why so far the number of deaths from Omicron is much less compared to Delta. This variant will end the corona epidemic.

Along with corona, Florona a new virus come to disturb human life …

A new type of case related to Corona has come to light in Israel. Double infection of Covid-19 and influenza has been found in a pregnant woman. The disease has been named 'Florona'. This has increased the concern of scientists amidst the growing cases of Omicron.

According to the information received so far, there is no new strain of coronae like Delta or Omicron. Both the coronavirus and the influenza virus attack the patient suffering from florona simultaneously. This can make the infection more dangerous. This is the first time a case of Florna has been reported since the beginning of the epidemic.

How dangerous is florona for us? Experts say that the coronavirus infects our respiratory system, and influenza virus infection causes serious diseases like pneumonia and myocarditis. They can even lead to the death of patients in the future. According to the Israel Ministry of Health and the US Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the infection of florona can spread rapidly. In the last week, Israel hospitals have treated more than 1,800 influenza patients. Due to the wave of Omicron, the cases of corona in the country are doubling every day. According to experts, the Omicron wave in Israel will peak in the next three weeks.

What are the symptoms of Florona? According to the data so far, a number of symptoms can be seen simultaneously in a person sick with florona. This includes pneumonia, myocarditis, and other respiratory problems. These problems can prove to be fatal if not treated at the right time.

Role of immunity against florona- According to experts of Cairo University Hospital told that Floraona can infect each person differently. The reason for this is the immunity of the people. According to experts, people's heart muscles can become inflamed due to poor immunity, as it is not common for two serious viruses to attack simultaneously. Research is being done on what other harm can happen to us from Florona.

Israel Health Ministry's opinion on Florna- At present, the Israel Ministry of Health has recommended to the government that individuals older than six months of age should be given an influenza vaccine that is safe even with the corona vaccine dose. If the officials are to be believed, there may be more such cases of Florna in the country, which have not been identified yet.

Infection with Omicron may act as immunity booster – Expert says…

If a person gets infected with the new variant of corona i.e. Omicron, then he may get developed a fighting capacity 14 times more against corona. And, if a person has taken both doses of corona vaccine means fully vaccinated, then immunity will be double.

As we know that the cases of the new variant 'Omicron' of coronavirus are increasing rapidly all over the world. Researches are being carried out in many countries to cope with the coronavirus and its new variants. Recently, research has conducted by the Africa Health Research Institute on Omicron infected people, and the outcome was very much surprising. According to this, the body of people who have suffered from Omicron infection is more capable of fighting any variant of Covid. In this research trial, 15 vaccinated and unvaccinated people were included, who had been infected with the Omicron variant.

Research has shown that after an Omicron infection, the body's ability to fight Omicron again increases by 14 times. At the same time, the fighting ability against the deadly Delta variant is increased by about 4.4 times. The immune response of vaccinated people has been seen well as those who did not take the vaccine.

According to experts, if vaccinated people get Omicron infection, then, their immunity gets an even more boost, so it is very important to be fully vaccinated. Antibodies produced after Omicron infection can even prevent delta reinfection by means of that after having Omicron infection, the person becomes safer from future Covid infection. Although the sample size of this research is quite small, and more research is needed with larger samples, but the findings that have come out so far are interesting.

As we know that both Omicron and Delta are variants of the coronavirus, both of which are made from different types of mutations. Both mutations have been described by WHO as Variant of Concern. As of now, it seems that the Omicron variant will replace the Delta variant in the coming few days. The main reason for this is that Omicron spreads many times faster than Delta, but data coming from South Africa and other countries suggest that Omicron causes only mild infection and hospitalization is also very low.

Recent research has shown that if any person gets infected with Omicron, the antibodies produced from his or her body will give more strength to fight the Delta variant. But it is too early to conclude that the COVID pandemic will end with Omicron. A lot of research will be needed before we can reach any final conclusions now. But, how effective the vaccines prepared against Covid so far are for its variants, it is being tracked continuously. According to the current data, it appears that the vaccine against Omicron has not been as much effective as expected. So, it requires more study in this record to conclude but still, hope is there…..

As per experts, it is very much clear from the data that has come from South Africa, the UK, and European countries that Omicron is not as dangerous as Delta was. This does not mean that people will not die at all from this. The number of deaths will be much less compared to the variants coming before it, Alpha or Delta.

After the Omicron infection, the body's immunity against the corona will increase and the production of antibodies will increase. Omicron will give a new boost to the body's immune system. A 'defense in depth' mechanism works with B cells and T cells in our body, Let us hope…

New variant spreads 70 times faster in the body than Delta, first attack on respiratory tract- a new research on Omicron….

A surprising research has come about the new variant of Corona, Omicron. Scientists from the University of Hong Kong have revealed that the Omicron variant spreads 70 times faster inside the body than the original form of the corona (SARS-CoV-2) and the delta variant. It reaches the lungs through the bronchi of humans. However, the risk of causing more lung damage from this is less than the previous variants.

Researchers from the University of Hong Kong performed a study on Omicron patients. Research has found that Omicron attacks the human respiratory tract. This is the way to reach the lungs. Within just 24 hours, Omicron had rapidly multiplied here. It was 70 times faster than the original form of Corona and the Delta variant.

Research has also shown that the Omicron variant does not cause much damage to the lungs. Its effect on the respiratory system is 10 times less than the other variants. This reduces the risk of getting serious diseases. According to Professor Michael Chan Chi-wai, even though Omicron is not very deadly, the speed of spreading its infection can disturb people. The danger of causing death due to this is not over yet. Michael says it could dodge existing vaccines.

What are the symptoms of Omicron: Some of the symptoms of the Omicron variant identified in South Africa are similar to the original form of the corona. Patients complain of dry cough, itchy throat, muscle pain, fatigue, headache, and fever. Also, the first symptom of Omicron is the absence of a smell and test.

How to protect ourselves against Omicron: Experts around the world are emphasizing vaccination to fight corona. Even though Omicron is a new variant, the methods to protect against it are old. This includes wearing a mask, practicing social distancing, avoiding crowded places, maintaining good ventilation, and washing hands frequently.

Omicron making surprising entry to those persons who have fully vaccinated also - A report...

Research is still going on whether the Covid vaccine will be effective in front of the new variant of the coronavirus, Omicron, while on the other hand, this variant found in two people of Singapore has proved to fail not only with both the doses of the vaccine but also the booster dose. Both people found infected with the Omicron variant in Singapore have received a booster dose of the Covid vaccine.

Despite this, due to their being infected with Omicron, questions are now being raised about the ability of booster doses to give protection against the virus. The first case of Omicron found in Singapore is of a 24-year-old woman who works in the passenger service at the airport. This woman has been found to be Omicron positive in the initial test. Singapore's health ministry said this was Omicron's first local case in the city. The second case is of foreign infection. The person found infected in this had returned from Germany on 6 December and it is believed that he may have been hit by Omicron in Germany itself. he had also received a booster dose.

According to the Singapore ministry, both the infected persons are recovering at the National Center for Infectious Diseases. All his contacts will be quarantined for 10 days. The ministry says – In view of the speed of the spread of the Omicron virus, we are assuming that many other cases related to Omicron can also be found on the border of the country and among our community.

Vaccine maker Pfizer-BioNTech earlier this week claimed the third dose of the vaccine, i.e. the booster dose, was able to kill the Omicron variant. The company made this claim on the basis of preliminary lab results of ongoing research into the effect of the vaccine on the Omicron variant, but cases found in Singapore have raised questions about these claims. Omicron or researchers should have looked forward new scope in this regard.

Let us see but please follow protocol made earlier for Covid – 19 till the new arrival of solution for the Omicron.

Omicron never taken lightly as it affect on person who had already fully vaccinated….

It has been come to know that the South African President Mr. Cyril Ramaphosa became corona positive on Sunday, however, he had taken both doses of the vaccine. The President's Office informed that he is undergoing treatment for mild symptoms. He will remain in self-isolation till he recovers. Until then, the responsibility of the President will be carried out by Vice President Mr. David Mabuza. Mr. Ramaphosa's felt sick after returning from an event in Cape Town, after which he has been kept under the supervision of doctors. Last month, the Omicron variant was first detected in South Africa. The whole world was shocked after the news of this variant being more contagious.

Considering its seriousness, the UK raises virus alert levels as the Omicron cases are increasing in Britain, due to which the alert level of Corona has been increased from 3 to 4. This information has been given by the British Chief Medical Officers. In their statement, officials said the exposure of the Omicron variant poses a greater threat to the public and healthcare services. According to medical officials, preliminary results suggest that Omicron is spreading more rapidly than Delta and that the vaccine is unable to stop it. In such a situation, people should wear masks, get regular corona tests done, and stay in isolation if they show symptoms.

The World Health Organization had also stated on Sunday that Omicron is more contagious than the delta variant of the coronavirus, and spreads rapidly. It also reduces the effectiveness of the vaccine. However, according to the initial data, its symptoms are not much visible to the patient. The delta variant of the corona is responsible for the new variant of the corona that has surfaced around the world. The WHO said that as of December 9, Omicron had spread to 63 countries.

In India, 38 cases of Omicron have been reported.  On Sunday, 5 new cases were found in 5 states. The first case of Omicron was reported in Kochi, Kerala. Kerala Health Minister Veena George told that the infected person had returned to Kochi from the UK on 6 December. He was found positive in the Covid test conducted on 8 December. At the same time, the report of his wife and mother has come positive. All have been shifted to the isolation ward. Passengers sitting near the infected person in the plane have also been informed about this. At the same time, today the first case of Omicron has been confirmed in Nagpur, Maharashtra, and the third case in Karnataka. New Omicron infections have also been identified in Chandigarh and Andhra Pradesh.

When it has been seen that the Omicron variant is spreading rapidly than the earlier detected variants of Covid-19 but there is a piece of relaxing news also creating hope in our mind that the new variant is unable to attack those persons who have taken precautionary measures such as wearing a proper mask, sanitizing their hands regularly and washing hand with soap at least 20 seconds on the regular interval of every 2 hours. The maintaining social distancing also works as a boon in the coming variant, so, please follow the protocol which was given for coronaviruses earlier until new medicines or vaccines or new protocol is announced.

UK Health Agency claims - Booster dose up to 75% effective against mild symptoms of Omicron….

Continuous and progressive research is being carried out all over the world to cope with situations along with Omicron, a new and deadly variant of Covid-19. At the same time, Britain's Health Protection Agency has claimed that a booster dose of Corona is 70 to 75% effective in eliminating mild symptoms of Omicron.

According to the agency, this information has come to the fore in the initial study regarding the vaccine. Whose data show that a booster dose of the vaccine works up to 75% in mild patients suffering from the new variant. Scientists have recently done this research on 581 people affected by Omicron due to booster doses of AstraZeneca and Pfizer-BioNTech.

Scientists say that the effect of the booster dose on Omicron patients was much less compared to the delta variant. The efficacy of the vaccine was found to be up to 90% in the delta variant. Although this is preliminary information, it is best that people who are eligible for a booster dose should get the vaccine. It has been revealed in the data that to some extent the booster dose reduces the risk of the new variant significantly.

World scared about the current vaccines on Omicron why? an expert reviews....

The potential for rapid mutation of the new variant of the Covid-19 virus, Omicron, has alarmed the whole world. This new variant is being said to be more dangerous than Delta, which devastated the whole world a few months ago because so far 50 mutations have occurred in Omicron. Due to Omicron's ability to mutate very rapidly, the question is also being raised whether the current corona vaccine will be effective on this new variant?

Meanwhile, British company Moderna has said that the current vaccine is likely to be less effective against Omicron. Why might existing vaccines be ineffective on Omicron? Omicron is said to be the fastest mutation virus ever. WHO has placed it in the category of “Variant of Concern”. There have been 33 mutations in its spike protein itself.

Actually, it is through the spike protein that the virus opens the way to enter human cells. The vaccine prepares the body to fight against it by producing antibodies against the spike protein itself. More mutations in Omicron's spike protein have raised concerns about how effective current vaccines will be against it? The current vaccine has been designed according to the original coronavirus strain that surfaced in Wuhan, China, while Omicron's strain is completely different from it. This is the reason why this new variant of the existing vaccine is expected to have little or no effect.

British company Moderna has said that the current vaccine against Omicron is expected to be less effective, amid discussions about the ineffectiveness of the vaccine against Corona's new variant Omicron. Moderna CEO Stephen Bensel told the Financial Times that current vaccines may be less effective against Omicron than earlier strains of the corona. Bensal also warned that it could take months for pharmaceutical companies to manufacture large-scale vaccine doses against the new variant. Omicron's potential for sharp mutations in the spike protein may require pharma companies to modify existing vaccines next year, he said.

Amidst the discussion on Omicron about the less effective or completely ineffectiveness of the existing vaccine, talk of bringing a new vaccine for it has started. British company Moderna has said that if needed, the vaccine of this new variant can come in the early months of 2022. Moderna has already made an mRNA vaccine of Corona. Moderna's chief medical officer, Paul Burton, has said his company could launch an mRNA vaccine to combat Omicron early next year if needed. At the same time, Pfizer, another company that makes the corona vaccine, has said that if needed, it can make a new vaccine against Omicron in six weeks and make its initial dose available within 100 days.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has so far approved the use of a total of eight corona vaccines worldwide. These eight vaccines currently being used for corona can be divided into three categories. One is the messenger RNA vaccine, the other is the viral vector vaccine and the third is the inactivated vaccine. The way these vaccines are made and work are different.

Messenger RNA (mRNA) Vaccines: These vaccines contain messenger RNA (mRNA) codes, which go into the body to make a version of the coronavirus protein. After vaccination, your immune cells begin to make fragments of the spike protein, and your body starts making antibodies. If you are later infected with the COVID-19 virus, these antibodies help fight against the virus.

Viral vector vaccine: This is a carrier vaccine, in which a non-harmful adenovirus is genetically engineered as a viral vector. When this virus reaches our cells, it instructs them to make copies of this spike protein. As spike proteins build up on the surfaces of your cells, your immune system responds by making antibodies and defensive white cells. When infected with the coronavirus, these antibodies are used to fight the virus.

Inactivated Vaccine: A dead or inactivated virus is used in this. This inactivated virus can neither multiply nor make you sick. Through this vaccine, an immune response is prepared in the body similar to a natural infection.

Omicron may leads third wave of Corona and push the world two year back - Says expert.....

Cases from Omicron first of all reported from Netherland and then South Africa and it was reported that it is very dangerous than delta virus. Spreadability is more because of continuos mutation in its spike protein. To date, omicron has spread in 35 countries and if the traveling is not stopped on immediate effects, then, within the week,   it is expected to spread to more than 400 countries.

Til today 400 cases of omicron variant have been reported throughout the world.  Expert says that if the third wave has come in an effective way, it may push the world two years back. In India, some cases have been reported with omicron variants and some cases are under testing. In Karnataka, 2 cases of omicron have been confirmed. Likewise, 01 cases from Kerala, 10 cases from Bikaner, Rajasthan, 09 cases from Jaipur, Rajasthan, and 12 cases from Delhi have been reported. The sample has been taken from the infected patients and sent for genome sequencing.

It is said that about 50 mutations have been seen in the omicron variant. among all mutations, 32 mutations have been reported in its spike protein itself. There is a very sensitive matter of thinking is that all the vaccines made for coronaviruses is mostly working to destroy the spike or make inactive the spike of coronaviruses by which it adheres in the body of human being but due to abnormal mutations in omicron variant, it is told that might it will leave the vaccine protection behind its infection and the person is also vulnerable who has already taken both the doses of the vaccines. The scientist is under stress because mRNA and Vector-based vaccines work on virus spikes and our body immune system respond to kill or paralyze virus's spike once it enters our body because virus using spike protein just like an adhering organ to the cell of the human body at that stage our immune system will start working against the viruses and safe our body.

Now the problem is that when the structure of the spike protein had been mutated then what would be the efficacy of the protein.  A senior citizen of Jamnagar, Gujrat found confirmed positive with omicron variant. He had come back to India from Zimbabwe.  Now the world moving towards lockdown. South Africa has declared the first level of lockdown.

Doctors told that omicron is spreading very fast and have common symptoms like other viral fever. The main symptoms are muscle pain, sour throat, dry cough, tiredness, headache and mild fever observed. Expert says we may escape from the infection up to an extent if we are fully vaccinated, avoid the rush, follow social distancing, wear a proper mask, sanitize our hand properly, avoid touching eyes, nose, mouth, and ears and avoid going outside until not urgent. If necessary to go outside,  go with full protection following all the protocols that were earlier followed.

However, in this puzzling situation, there is good news too. GlaxoSmithKline plc (GSK) statement said that lab tests and a study on hamsters have demonstrated the sotrovimab antibody cocktail to work against viruses that were bio-engineered to carry a number of hallmark mutations of the Omicron variant. In a major boost to the treatment against fast-spreading and heavily mutated new coronavirus variant Omicron, GlaxoSmithKline plc (GSK) today said clinical data from tests indicate antibody-drug works against the variant.GSK, which is developing the Covid-19 antibody-based therapy with US partner Vir, said "Preclinical data demonstrate sotrovimab, authorized in multiple countries around the world, retains activity against all tested variants of concern, including key mutations of Omicron. Sotrovimab is an investigational monoclonal antibody that retains activity against key mutations of the new Omicron variant, including those found in the binding site of sotrovimab. These data were generated through pseudo-virus testing of specific individual mutations found in Omicron.

To date, sotrovimab has demonstrated ongoing activity against all tested variants of concern and interest defined by the World Health Organization (WHO)," a GSK statement said. The tests are continuing to confirm the results against all of the Omicron mutations, with an update expected by the end of the year. The antibody is designed to latch on to the spike protein on the surface of the coronavirus, but Omicron has been found to have an unusually high amount of mutations on that protein.  Sotrovimab was deliberately designed with a mutating virus in mind,  said Vir Chief Executive George Scangos, adding that the drug was targeting a region of the spike protein that was highly unlikely to mutate. In Britain, this drug has been approved on Thursday by another brand name "Xevudy", for people with mild to moderate Covid-19 and who are at high risk of developing severe disease. Sotrovimab, sold under the brand name Xevudy, is an investigational human neutralizing dual-action monoclonal antibody with activity against severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2, known as SARS-CoV-2.

Sotrovimab is based on monoclonal antibodies, which are lab-made versions of the natural antibodies the body generates to fight off an infection. Similar products are offered or being developed by Eli Lilly, Regeneron, and AstraZeneca.

Corona's new variant Omicron stirred up the world…..

After cases of Omicron, a new form of Covid-19 were reported in many other countries of the world, many governments have taken steps like closing the borders of their respective countries, while scientists say that it is not yet clear that this form of the virus Whether or not it is more dangerous than the forms that came before. According to reports, cases of Omicron have been reported in 15 countries of the world.

How dangerous is the Omicron variant? WHO gave information, told the preventive measures--

The new form was identified a few days ago by researchers in South Africa and so far no information is available on whether it is more contagious or makes a patient seriously ill or negates the effect of its vaccine, but many countries have taken precautionary measures. Steps have been taken because already more than 5 million people have died worldwide due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Israel has decided to ban the entry of foreigners. Morocco said it would suspend all incoming flights from Monday for the next two weeks. Scientists from many places from Hong Kong to Europe and North America have identified the presence of this form.13 cases have been reported from Omicron in the Netherlands. After this, two cases each were reported from Canada and Australia. The World Health Organization (WHO) has suggested not closing the borders, in view of the limited impact of measures such as border closures and new cases in many countries.

Dr Francis Collins, director of the National Institutes of Health in the US, has emphasized that there is currently no information available that Omicron is more dangerous than earlier forms of Covid-19. Collins told the CNN channel that he thinks it is more contagious, given the rapid spread of cases in various districts of South Africa, but it is not yet known whether it is as dangerous as the delta form of the virus.

Japanese Prime Minister said on Monday that Japan is considering measures to increase border controls. He told reporters that he plans to announce new measures for travelers arriving from South Africa and eight other nearby countries in addition to mandatory 10 days of quarantine. Japan still has banned tourists from any other country from coming here.

The US plans to impose travel restrictions on South Africa and seven other South African countries from Monday. America's top infectious disease specialist Dr Anthony Fauci told that this will provide an opportunity to increase preparedness. The government of South Africa has objected to the travel restrictions. The WHO said in a statement that it "stands with African countries". The apex health organization said that travel restrictions may partially play a role in slowing the spread of Covid-19, but it has a major impact on people and their livelihoods.

Omicron, a new Covid-19 varient is 5 time more dangerous than delta varients....

Omicron, the name of the new Covid-19 variant that is sending worrying signals from Southern Africa, becomes again dangerous for the world. India is also not safe if the decision is not taken by the Government in time. Uttrakhand Government has issued new guidelines for the new variant. New Delhi and Madhya Pradesh Government make the state on alert mode. World Health Organisation has named it 'Variant of Concern'

The Omicron variant is found 5 times more dangerous than the Delta variant. It makes scientists worried as there would be no safety even after taking the full doses of the Corona vaccine. Now from Jammu & Kashmir to Kanyakumari and from Gujrat to Arunachal Pradesh, the whole country is on high alert mode. The coming 30 days is very important to our country. Within 30 days it would be clear how much our country would be safe from the 3rd wave of the corona.

The Prime Minister of India has issued an important advisory to all the state governments. Prime Minister of India has instructed to make a positive review about the functioning of all the oxygen plant and hospital facilities, to be ready to face any kind of hurdle. It is a matter to be worry as the new variant is highly transmissible and can challenge even strong immunity. This variant genome sequencing is B.1.1.529 mutant and it can replace the delta variant. Out of 59 mutations, about 32 mutations and their receptor binding site or spike protein are found more dangerous than the Delta variant. Dr. Easwar Jilad, specialist, Infectious diseases, told that it is good news that till today, no patient seen in India with this variant. But it does not mean that we should be very calm, still, high alertness is required and it is better to stop many international flights and other transportation systems for that a meeting is being held in Delhi and it is expected that some important decision may come to stop the International flights from December 15, 2021.

Prime Minister Of India has written a letter to the state government stating that the strict SOP should be followed for the passengers coming from other countries and also increase the RT-PCR testing. Hospitals make ready, oxygen plant should make functional, hot spot area should be strictly monitored. It has decided to seal international borders immediately.

M.P. Government decides that 50 % of the capacity of the school college will only be made functional. Attendance would be made on alternate days. Online classes will be continued.   The first Omicron variant had been observed in South Africa and now it has caused panic across the world, among governments, the public, and the stock markets. After adding a number of southern African countries to the red list, the UK government has reimposed mandatory masks in England from Tuesday and will require anyone traveling to the country from abroad to take a PCR test. Omicron is probably the first variant to have scientists worried since Delta became the predominant strain in every country last summer. But how bad it is? What does it mean for future lockdowns – and future deaths? Let us see.....
