Infection with Omicron may act as immunity booster – Expert says…

If a person gets infected with the new variant of corona i.e. Omicron, then he may get developed a fighting capacity 14 times more against corona. And, if a person has taken both doses of corona vaccine means fully vaccinated, then immunity will be double.

As we know that the cases of the new variant 'Omicron' of coronavirus are increasing rapidly all over the world. Researches are being carried out in many countries to cope with the coronavirus and its new variants. Recently, research has conducted by the Africa Health Research Institute on Omicron infected people, and the outcome was very much surprising. According to this, the body of people who have suffered from Omicron infection is more capable of fighting any variant of Covid. In this research trial, 15 vaccinated and unvaccinated people were included, who had been infected with the Omicron variant.

Research has shown that after an Omicron infection, the body's ability to fight Omicron again increases by 14 times. At the same time, the fighting ability against the deadly Delta variant is increased by about 4.4 times. The immune response of vaccinated people has been seen well as those who did not take the vaccine.

According to experts, if vaccinated people get Omicron infection, then, their immunity gets an even more boost, so it is very important to be fully vaccinated. Antibodies produced after Omicron infection can even prevent delta reinfection by means of that after having Omicron infection, the person becomes safer from future Covid infection. Although the sample size of this research is quite small, and more research is needed with larger samples, but the findings that have come out so far are interesting.

As we know that both Omicron and Delta are variants of the coronavirus, both of which are made from different types of mutations. Both mutations have been described by WHO as Variant of Concern. As of now, it seems that the Omicron variant will replace the Delta variant in the coming few days. The main reason for this is that Omicron spreads many times faster than Delta, but data coming from South Africa and other countries suggest that Omicron causes only mild infection and hospitalization is also very low.

Recent research has shown that if any person gets infected with Omicron, the antibodies produced from his or her body will give more strength to fight the Delta variant. But it is too early to conclude that the COVID pandemic will end with Omicron. A lot of research will be needed before we can reach any final conclusions now. But, how effective the vaccines prepared against Covid so far are for its variants, it is being tracked continuously. According to the current data, it appears that the vaccine against Omicron has not been as much effective as expected. So, it requires more study in this record to conclude but still, hope is there…..

As per experts, it is very much clear from the data that has come from South Africa, the UK, and European countries that Omicron is not as dangerous as Delta was. This does not mean that people will not die at all from this. The number of deaths will be much less compared to the variants coming before it, Alpha or Delta.

After the Omicron infection, the body's immunity against the corona will increase and the production of antibodies will increase. Omicron will give a new boost to the body's immune system. A 'defense in depth' mechanism works with B cells and T cells in our body, Let us hope…

A great success for Indian scientists, made Omicron identification kit within two hours…

As we know that the Omicron has created fear for the coming days due to its multiple spreadabilities and it has been told that this variant has 7 times more spreadability than the delta variant of Covid -19. All over the world scientists are continuously searching for the antidotes of this deadly variant in the meantime Indian scientists have achieved great success in identifying the Omicron variant of Corona that is spreading rapidly across the world.

The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has prepared a COVID test kit in Dibrugarh, Assam. The new Omicron variant can be detected in just two hours with this kit. In view of the increasing cases of Omicron in many states of the country, this kit will prove to be very important.

Research is continuing to cope with the omicron variant in the coming days at the same time experts warn that the UK may face an Omicron wave in January next year. Experts have issued a new warning about Omicron in the UK. It is said that Britain could face a major Omicron wave from January next year if public gatherings are not banned. According to the model from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LHSTM), the number of corona patients hospitalized due to Omicron infection may also increase.

In India, experts told that we should not be relaxed to watching the effect of omicron but we should be alert and all the possible attempts to be made to cope with omicron variant of Covid-19 and considering this the speed of vaccination have been made fast and till now 133 crores people have been vaccinated even today itself 81 lakh vaccine doses were applied.

Along with the vaccination, the Center gave instructions to states with high positivity rates; and said to implement strict rules including night curfew. Union Health Secretary Mr. Rajesh Bhushan has issued notice to those states and union territories where the corona positivity rate has been reported higher in the last two weeks.

It is written in this notice that a night curfew should be imposed in the areas identified in the case of Corona. Also, there should be a ban on the gathering of more people and fewer people should be allowed to come for the ceremony like weddings and funerals.

Omicron Variant: Omicron has more panic, less danger, says expert…

After facing the global pandemic of Covid -19, people are still under stress and many efforts made to bring regular life in normal mode. Now another variant of Covid-19 mutant named B.1.1.529 has knocked on the door to disturb routine life and made its presence in more than 16 countries.

It has been said that it is very much spreadable and has the potency of spreading 7 times more than the Delta variant. But along with this, there has also been relief news. A South African doctor says a patient infected with the variant has very mild symptoms and can be treated at home.

Dr. Angelique Coetzee, president of the South African Medical Association, said that 7 patients had come to her clinic whose symptoms were different from the Delta variant and were 'extremely mild'. He told that on November 18, patients had come to him who had complaints like body ache and headache. Its symptoms were similar to normal viral fever. So, we did the test in which its report came positive. On the same day, some more patients came to him with the same symptoms. Since then, 2 to 3 patients with similar symptoms are coming to him.

Dr. Coetzee is the same doctor who first identified the Omicron variant. He said that the patients who are coming now have very mild symptoms and they do not need to be hospitalized. Such patients can be treated at home. They also reported that, unlike the Delta variant, the Omicron-infected patient neither smelled nor tested positive nor did his oxygen level drop.

So, don't be panic but take utmost precautions as taken in the time of Covid-19.
