Curry
leaves a famous daily use spice of all over the world especially in India and other
neighbor countries. Curry leaves plants are botanically called Murraya koenigii;
family Rutaceae. Curry leaf tree is a small, medium-sized tree, most famous in
Southern India and Sri Lanka. It is found in most of the dishes in South India for
necessary and authentic flavor.

Leaves of the plant are used green as well as shade-dried form. Mostly green leaves are used as a digestive, tonic, stimulant, rich in vitamin A and calcium. It is frequently used as folk medicine in diarrhea, dysentery, and checking to vomit. Using curry leaves can not only give you a good taste of food, but you can also change the look of your face and hair by using it.
Experts say that the curry leaves used in
cuisines for flavor and aroma are also helpful in making the skin healthy and beautiful.
With their antioxidant and antibacterial properties, curry leaves are nothing new
to our kitchens. It has been used in different cuisines for years, But perhaps
you will be surprised to know that these curry leaves used for taste and aroma in
food are also very beneficial for skin and hair.
Let us know how they can be
used for healthy-beautiful skin:
1. Make a paste by grinding 4-5 curry leaves. Mix a few drops of lemon
juice in the paste and apply it to the face and wash it with water after 10
minutes. You will get relief from the problem of pimples.
2. Make a powder by drying curry leaves in the sun for two to three
days. Mix a tablespoon of Multani mitti and a few drops of rose water in a
teaspoon of curry leaves and apply it to the face. Wash off with water when
dry. The face will start glowing.
3. Mix a little turmeric and a few drops of rose water in a paste of
curry leaves and apply it on the face and wash for 10 minutes. Within a few
days, the difference will be visible.
4. Wash 15-20 curry leaves thoroughly and
boil them in a cup of milk. After cooling apply on the face and wash off after
some time. You will get rid of blemishes and marks on the face.
5. Make a paste by grinding 15-20 curry leaves. Mix a tablespoon of honey
and a little lemon juice in it and apply it to the face. Wash off with water
after 15-20 minutes. Apply this pack once a week to get rid of pimples.
