Why majority of people gave up eating non-veg' food within decade …

These days non-veg i.e. non-vegetarian food is very much in trend. There are restaurants running exclusively for chicken, mutton, fish, and other types of non-veg dishes. But recent research of Oxford University has revealed that in the last 10 years, about 20 percent of people have decided not to eat non-veg.

A very shocking reason behind this has come to the fore in research. Indeed, in the UK, there has been an increase in cases of cancer and diabetes type 2 and heart-related diseases among people who eat non-veg.

Those who used to eat non-veg with passion, they have stopped consuming non-vegetarian food due to this health issue. According to research, in the last 10 years, about 20 percent of people in Britain have given up non-veg food. Research has revealed that due to poor lifestyle and irregular eating, we have started eating anything wildly for the taste of the tongue.

Due to this, people have come into the grip of many severe diseases in their early stages of life.  These include obesity, diabetes, and high blood pressure. Not only these diseases but also much other life-threatening disease enters to the body through non-veg foods.  According to the report, cancer and diabetes type 2 and heart-related diseases are increasing among people who eat non-veg in the UK. That's why most people have stopped consuming non-veg.

According to research from Oxford University, people have either reduced or stopped eating non-veg food to stay healthy. For this reason, there has been a sharp decrease in the consumption of red meat there. However, the trend of people towards eating chicken and fish has increased.
