Generally, people like to eat fennel (Seeds of Foeniculum vulgare; Family - Apiaceae) after meals, as it is beneficial for digestion. If you also like to eat fennel, then let us tell you some other health benefits of its consumption and its important miraculous remedies -

1. Cholesterol remains under control by taking fennel every 30 minutes after 1 meal.

2. Taking five-six grams of fennel is good for liver and eyesight. 

3. Fennel is also extremely useful in dyspeptic disorders. 

4. Fennel, roasted on a griddle without oil and grind as a fine powder and then consume one tea spoonful after food is very beneficial in indigestion.

5. Taking one teaspoon of fennel boiled in two cups of water twice or thrice helps in ending the problem of constipation, indigestion, belching, and phlegm.

6. Fennel consumption is also helpful in the treatment of asthma and cough.

7. Eating fennel is beneficial even if there is phlegm and cough.

8 . Eating fennel with jaggery makes menstruation regular.
 
9. It is very useful in removing stomach upset of babies.

10. Boil a teaspoon of fennel in a cup of water and let it cool for 20 minutes. This helps in the treatment of colic in the baby. The baby should not be given more than one or two teaspoons of this solution.

11. Taking an equal quantity of fennel powder with sugar, it ends burning sensation of hands and feet. 10 grams of fennel should be taken after meals.
